d0n
Hi guys. I have a 1971 Bombardier snowcat that has a 251 chrysler flathead 6 cyl. It's near impossible to find parts for because all the auto stores want to know what the engine is in. When I tell them, they look at me like I have 3 heads. It's a very basic mechanical fuel pump. It does not have a glass bowl on the bottom. Any ideas where to buy one? thanks! Here's a pic of the engine. The top of the fuel pump is barely visible just under the manifold. keiser31
Try Andy Bernbaum Mopar on Google and there is his website with all kinds of fuel pumps for you to choose from.
old gto
You`re not going to believe this, but a couple years ago I found a standard replacement fuel pump for my 1931 Chevy "stovebolt 6" ON THE SHELF at my local NAPA store! So I`d say....give them a call. You never know!

Dandy Dave
Tell them you have a 1950's Dodge truck in the 2 ton range with a 251 CDI Flat head. Like say a 1957 D-400. The pump should be the same. Or the NAPA Dealer should beable to look in up under Chryler Industrial/ Farm application for a 251 chrysler industrial. The pump may be the same as a 218, 230, but I am not positive. Dandy Dave!
