nearchoclatetown Posted November 3, 2008 Share Posted November 3, 2008 Look behind the starter/generator. There is a small rod that moves when touched, might have a hat shaped top but probably not. There are two raised areas in the casting at the base of the front cylinder. The top of the rod should be close to the top raised area. The Book of Information for your car should show a picture. 72caddy Posted November 3, 2008 Share Posted November 3, 2008 Just in case yours is like mine and the float is no longer floating....you will see just the tip of the rod poking it head out of the small hole in the location that nearchoclatetown describes.
