4 barrel manifolds for 6 cylinder engines are uncommon, but available as aftermarket and over-the-counter parts for most 6 cylinders. They're very popular on Slant 6 Mopars, for instance, especially the dealer-option "Power-Pack" setup.

This manifold is very long, and I suspect it's for an engine too old to have a 4 barrel if it's a car engine. If it's truly a 4 barrel manifold, perhaps it's from a truck or semi engine.

Again, it's an exhaust manifold. 1 barrel, 4 barrel, 10 barrel, it doesn't matter. There is no carb flange. As with most inline manifolds, the intake fits into the spaces between the port flanges. This engine had an intake with three runners feeding two cylinders each. The flange area in the center is the "hotspot" that warms the intake.
