Guest DebReatta90
Hello, I have a 90 and need to replace the light switch. All of the ones I have seen listed for sale have the slider switch to dim the dash lights on the bottom. Mine has the fog lights on the bottom. Not sure what to buy to replace mine. Thanks in advance for sharing your knowledge.DebProud owner of Garnet/Gray
Booreatta
I think what you are seeing is the switch that works for the 89. It is a different switch for the 90. Just a guess
Jim
Deb,You are correct in that the '90 headlight switch was only used in '90 Reattas and is one-of-a-kind. For '91 Reatta moved the fog light switch to the console and added the twilight sentinel feature.I have several Reatta parts cars and have a good '90 headlight switch available.I can be reached at jfinn@cpinternet.com

Barney Eaton
Jim, will a '91 and later headlight switch plug into the '90 connector?
Guest Kitskaboodle
And to "pile" another question on top of Barney's....i noticed that of the two Ac-Delco 90 switches I bought recently, both had a purple dot on the back of the housing. Anyone know what this is for?Kit
Guest Drake
I believe the paper dot on the back covers one of the edges of the outer cover. You have to remove or score it to remove the outer cover & access the buttons & switches. Manufacturer installed to see if field technicians were playing where they weren't suppose too. The switches were replace only items. If the returned switch 'Tamper Dot' was removed or damaged, the dealer didn't get credit towards the replacement.
