Durant Mike
Addicted to cars; Go the the Durant Motors Automobile Web site which is located at www.duratantmotors.org and post a notice there. The club members are very helpful and Rugby was a Durant product.
jan arnett (2)
The rugby would have the same crank as a Star. It is esentially a rebadged Star.Jan
Rusty_OToole
There was an English Star car at the same time Durant made the Star.I had the idea that the Star was rebadged Rugby for export markets like England and Commonwealth countries where the Star name was already taken. jan arnett (2)
You are 100% correct. The English Star looks nothing like the Durant Star.Jan
Rusty_OToole
Since the Star used a Continental engine I suspect that any Continental crank would work.Continental made power plants for hundreds of cars, trucks and industrial uses. Perhaps you could borrow a crank from a fellow collector and copy it?
