Willy
I mistakenly believed years ago that my Whippet was a 1927. I have recently found out it is a 1928. My question - Did Whippet have a 1928 Parts Manual, or did the 1927 Model 96 cover that same model through all the years? I have all the booklets for 1927, and am now wondering if I need to look for 1928's?
Mark Shaw
My Standard Catalog of American Cars lists:The 27 model 96 is 30 HP with 104.25 Wheel Base. The 28 model 96 is 32 HP with 100.24 Wheel Base.
ex98thdrill
We have a 1929 Model 96-A coupe with a rumble seat. As for the literature covering all years, I can't honestly answer your question. If you can't get your questions answered to your satisfaction on this website, the Willys Knight Overland Registry does maintain a website, so your answers may be found there. When we were putting our car together, that club gave us the contacts to locate the parts that were needed.GOOD LUCK!!
