mribbich@wi.rr.com
The fuel pump you need is a AC478 the 39 will not work.
35Dictator
Thanks, that's good to know.Does Ac stand for AC Delco then?Maybe Napa,Carquest might be able to get this? Thanks a bunch. At the price of gas here in ND right now mpg wouldn't be good even though the car is tarped for the winter.

35Dictator
Thanks for the heads up. I did bid on it but the more I looked at the picture the more I had to pull the tarp and take a look at the one one the car. It's a good thing I did because I turned out to be way different. Along with the water glass the bolt pattern was different. The one on ebay was diagonal and mine is straight across. There was only one pic. and it didn't show the bolt pattern, he emailed me. I wonder if my motor is truly a 35?Maybe my motor was from a 36?The guy that won it paid under thirty with shipping include.
rbk
The way to tell the 1935 and earlier (1932-33 Rockne 1934 Dictator)is by looking at the drivers side (LHC) of the engine. The earlier engines had the outline of the cylinders showing.1936 and later was flat. Most of the earlier engines were replaced by 1936-laterengines because of cracking problems on the earlier blocks. That fuelpump on ebay was not Stude. If you are still looking for a fuel pump,I may have one.Email me at studebaker@mac.comRobert Kapteyn ,Joliet Studebaker
