Thanks..Never heard of them .. where is it sold? Do they make a dye?

I used it after I saddle soaped the seats to clean them, then used Neats foot oil.. I saved 2 original 53 Eldo interiors that way it takes time and care, but can work. It worked great for me.
Most guys just buy new leather which has a completely different feel than those leathers of the 50,60s. It's like making a mens coat out of chiffon . It wont hold the shape you need.
So without custom tanning and finishing the hides to match what I have, I'd rather simply clean n respray what I have.
Besides few interior guys can do work on more elaborate interiors of that time and get them to look factory.

Thank you. The type of leather I have isnt soft it's more firm, appreciate the help but interior is light colored n needs painting. We did it all the time on light colored Rolls interiors.

I definitely want to keep my original leather trimmed interior. It will need to be cleaned softened n dyed. Need to start with deep cleaning n making it soft again. What's worked great for any of you guys??

Thanks.. you wouldn't primer it?

The whole car isnt chipping n its original paint. I'm not asking about the entire car , just the surface rusted sections..
-
They are thin n glued to metal.. yes very careful
-
I didn't mean to suggest these are tiny stone chips . The biggest ones are like 1.5 x 4 wide.. they were areas where paint flaked off in a section. Over drivers wheel well lip, n interior sides of headlite buckets

Nice center rear bumper, spare tire cover, dash pad ,n tilt tele wheel for bone interior. books: data book, paint and interior selections, service manual. Or?
-
Can anyone give me the heads up on product and procedures to treat these areas ? I'm not able to repaint the car yet, but want to keep it from becoming worst and arrest the active rust where the paint chipped off..Recommendations?
Thanks

Thank you, I think it's one coat..

I'm about to work on an original car with mostly original paint but areas of thinning and some surface rust. Having not had a car painted since '04..not too sure what to do. I'm not making a show car but want it to look nice n more presentable.
Is there a way to sand down original paint and repaint original color over it? I didnt want to strip it and do a major number on it..any suggestions??
Interior questions. I remember a product years ago that wasn't water based it was like an alcohol type base. They used it at dealers when they got smudges on the fabric interiors during servicing. Is something like it around now?
Final questions anyone use those dye products on real leather trim, my armrest lost their color coating. What products work best? Does upholsterer do this, or you do it yourself? Suggestions..
Dash cracks .any company fix these, or you just find good used one n redye it?
Thanks..

For Fleetwood: nice lower center rear bumper, right side mirror, nice tan dash pad, original trunk liner or pieces, owners manual, accessories, shop, n brochure, etc.
