  1. AWESOME RESPONSE TIME!!!! I just posted in the "INTERNATIONAL" Forum, if you care to read that post. Mahalo.
  2. Peter, Mahalo! Establishing this thread was quite quick, a bit of a suprise, too!!!!! Downside? Yes, there is one - I have to scroll farther down to reach the WILLYS thread!!! I will let a friend know that there now exists a "forum" at AACA for International Harvester Company Vehicles! I'm sure we'll see that it will get some favorable reviews and use, as well! I could use some (WANT?) 1933 D1 ads, info and 1937-40 ads? No room for the real thing, it's not in the budget!
  3. First off, let me say I did not want to start a debate about Buick Reattas or any thing else! As I originally stated, I DON'T have an International. An aquaintance has a couple of 1933 D1s and the International High Wheeler has to be a "Pioneer" type of vehicle. The 1933 - 1940 Pickups and Panels are; in my mind, quite stylish. Of course, we all have our favorite cars and trucks. I happen to prefer Commercial Half Ton "Oddball", orphan stuff! My username should indicate this!! The International Harvester Company sold MORE "Willys" pickups and Panels in 1933 than Willys did! Willys being in receivership, contracted with IHC to provide International with Light Duty Commercial vehicles. (Or vice versa.) There is a bit of information about this on the WILLYS OVERLAND KNIGHT REGISTRY website! The Green Diamond Six was derived from the Willys Six. So, this was a thought that occurred to me and I'd vote YES, even though I'll never own an International - not because I don't want to, but I have a full slate and I'm not getting younger! MAHALO! (I'll leave this to the Administrators and you Forum Members.)
  4. Would like to acquire a good, complete or rebuildable 'TILLOTSON D1D' Carburetor! Would like a rebuild kit or two, if you have anything up on the top shelf! Someone needed the one on my car worse than I did. (and they haven't brought it back, yet!) Thanks in advance for any help, leads etc.
  5. Looking for a complete Distributor for a 1936 WILLYS 77 Four Cylinder. Not sure what else interchanges, possibly 1937 or newer? Thanks!
  6. Just wrote a post about 1935 - 36 REO trucks - the cab style reminds me of the 1934 - 36 International; so I thought "there isn't an "INTERNATIONAL" Section on the forum? Had a look and did not spot anything - failing eyesight?!!? Just curious? Or is there an International website elsewhere? Thanks! (No, I don't "IHC"! ("I Have Cornbinder!"). MAHALO!
  7. Came across an interesting Pickup Truck on the internet some time back ~ a 1935 REO! 1936 is the same? (appearance wise). How many were manufactured? Reminds me of the 1934 ~ 1936 International style wise. Any info available, somewhere?
  8. Hi Steve: I sent you a private email. Just so you are aware of that, I'll post here, as well. Thanks.
  9. I think this is a "DELUXE" model sedan. It appears to have trim on the hood louvers and the (sides of the) Head Lights as well. I had a 1937 Deluxe Sedan and the Trim on the louvers designated a deluxe model.
  10. Just a quick note or two on your reply, Dave. The 1937 version had hood hinges - one per side in an opening in the cowl. The 1938-40 had a "piano" hinge in the centre of the hood. Not sure about the 1941-42. The 1937 was designated Model 37 - check the Body Tag under the hood, Passenger side. Model 38 was 1938. 1939 had two Models - the 39 and the 48. The Shield shaped unit was the "Overland", while the regular one had the round headlights. Will have to check the particulars and may repost with "accurate" info as I am relying on my memory - not a good (or smart) thing to be doing - in my case! The 1941-42 had a different body, as far as I know. These later ones had a small window behind the rear door, while the 1937-40 shared the same body. I'm "into" the earlier MODEL 77 stuff! Still looking for 1933-36 Parts, Literature & Dealer items! Thanks! Tom

  12. Check with the WOKR ~ "Willys Overland Knight Registry" ~ go to: :wokr.org" Matter of fact, they have a Whippet CD ~ full of info! I'll check with a friend of mine who may have a "Tag" available. Your car may have been exported from Canada, anyway! Canadian tag, EH!

  21. Interested in obtaining a Grille Insert for a 1933 - 1936 International Pickup. Would consider one for a larger model truck, if it is in good condition. Also, any 1933 International Pickup/Panel Truck parts, info wanted.
  22. Just received a catalog in the mail from The Brillman Company in Mount Jackson, VA. Phone 1 888 BRILLMAN (274 - 5562). They have semi tailored 4 cylinder sets for $21.00, coils - $27.50, points - $14.00 and rotors - $11.00 for four cylinder - so hope that helps out! (June 2009 Catalog.)
  23. In regards to your "Turnpike Cruiser" Hubcaps and on the link in post #5 above: I took a look and the style of cap that was on my 1957 Four Door Hardtop were the "1957Merc" caps as opposed to the style of cap in your photo. The car was about eleven years old at the time, so I know they were the original caps to that particular car. The only car that I should have kept:(, from when I was younger!!!!
