It is overwhelmingly clear that when Ed gets in to a group of cars he is going to chase things to the end and we will all end up knowing a bunch more things Don't run out of time Ed.

Frazer Nashes were completely different cars than Nashes were. They were British racing cars with very odd drive systems. Nashes were cars that came from the the Old Rambler and Jeffries car company.

You will need a proportioning valve also. Make sure you talk to brake people who have done this sort of thing.

When you learn how they work It is a lot easier to troubleshoot them. In the end if you can't figure out the problem then you can have someone repair it

Even though this is the AACA website I would like to see a couple of pictures of your bike TAKerry.

Ross will also make pistons and rings fairly priced. I would much rather have modern rings than anything NOS.

I am reaching back to the White car in front of Yellowstone lodge. It looks to have a person in the Military in the back seat and he is probably on duty. They used the military instead of having park rangers in the early days of Yellowstone. My grand father was stationed there in the army from 1911 to 1913.

That is probably trying to tell you you have a bad connection. Check everywhere and realize it could be internal corrosion in the wiring itself.
-
I order to stop or slow the galvanic corrosion use nothing but distilled water with your antifreeze. It took many years for it to corrode this much and if you protect another one it should last many more.

I have to agree with TAKerry. I lalways seem to win some cleaning products or wax at tour banquets and then I don't use them.

You can't really match faded paint

i started out doing body work because you could go home when you felt like it. Mechanical work usually had to be finished before you could come home. The older I get the more I like working on little stuff that need a lot of close attention. I don't like pulling engines and big stuff any more

It is fairly rare for the WSJ to feature pre wwII cars let alone wwI cars.

I always get a little nervous when asking a modern shop to do any work on older cars. If the shop techs don't show an interest and think your car is interesting do somewhere else. Like Ed says look for pride in work. Whenever they show an interest, that means that they will probably do a more careful job.

Gas reserves is probably referring to natural gas not gasoline.

The Old Carb Doc in Nebo N. Carolina redid an old Schebler for me that works real well. We also had some good discussions about an old teens Johnson carb and he seemed to be quite well informed.

If that is base coat then you should clear it. I know of no base coats that require sanding before clearing. Base coat paints will not hold up to the sun if left uncleared.

The one thing you should always do when painting is to follow the directions. Different paint systems have different properties and have different ways to do correctly. When in doubt, you can always contact a manufacturer's rep. There has been some good advice here but also some that is not so good. follow the directions!

There are probably 20 to 25 different Northway engines in 1919, a lot of them different engines that still shared some of their parts. I would do some research on what your cam timing is and use a degree wheel to make absolutely certain that you have it right.

Electric vehicles, oil demand, internal combustion...a good read

I fail to see how we need to defend or attack oil companies. They are like any other kind of company, they are sometimes ogres and some time saints with most of their time spent in the grey areas.
