Paul if you have an old shock take it to a parts store that can measure it and find a shock in his book that is close. That is what I did on my 37 Preident and it worked out good

There are 4 small clips that screws go through into the body the clips go over the edge of the speaker and clamp it in place

Don I am not sure about 37 but the frame on a 38 coupe express and a 38 Commander have the same part number.I will be useing a 38 Commander frame under my 38 CE.

Don I know that the 37 Dictator,President and 37,38 and 39 Coupe Express rear fenders are the same. With the exception of the holes for the tail lights.

Don My 37 President had the under running board antennas. Mine were rusted to much to reuse so I will try to make some with some 1/2" conduit. Each side has the antenna wire hooked to them. The center wire to the antenna and the outside wire to a ground.The radio has two places to connect the antennas one for cowl antenna the other running board antenna. They are mounted in rubber insulating blocks.Hope this helps

I have a beautiful pair of 37 Studebaker Fender Lights They are reproductions but you can't tell them from NOS. They bome with stainless rings for the lenses that Shrock reproduces I would like to trade these for other things I need. Such as The large 37 Pesident wheel covers, Center over rider - bumper guard, clock for 37 President,LHS tail light with mount, Side mount spare cover the face cover not the outside ring. George when I wired my 37 I could not find an original style junction block so I got one from NAPA that has screw terminals. I had to cut off the bullet connectors and put on eye terminals but it works good and I think the connections are more secure.

My 2 cents as long as you are using the same # on the repo plate I would think that would be OK.On my 37 President I could sure use a new number plate. If you find some one who will do this Ill be a customer also.

Steve I don't think that in 37 they had another number on the frame.There was not an other number on my frame that I could find. I have found the number on the rear crossmember on several post war Studes.

I am looking for a pair of hing pin mirrors for my 37 President Anyone know where I can get them? Thanks Jerry

The August 1989 Turning wheels has a production list but not by body style. It list 9100 Presidents in all body styles. So all 37 Presidents are rare and I would think the 3 passenger coupe would be the most rare.

Do you have the water jacket cover on th driver side? This would be for a 37 president 250 CI eight. I thought mine was OK but when I filled with water the first time it has pin holes all over the rear part. Or is there a fix that would work? what do you think about epoxy?
