This is a 1948-1947 Buick horn button center. There is an etched brass disk that goes behind it. Here are the various parts and the final assembly. This is a clear center and ivory outer ring that I cast and painted. I wish I could find someone to chrome and gold plate these items in small quanties.
THANKS! You have solved my problem.

Without any photo, most guesses are going to be just a shot in the dark.
There are three photos in my initial post.

I switched this to the Pre War group as it appears to be from the earlier generations of cars.
This from 40s or 50s, I edited my post title.

Saw this on another site, great looking driver definitely worth the asking price.

Nobody? I have been told on Facebook that this was designed to fit over a colored plastic bezel with a chrome outer ring and used as a horn button but cannot find a good photo or specific year / model use, any idea?

I need to identify this item. It is clear plastic, 3 1/2" diameter, with the 1948-52 style Buick logo back painted / plated in gold, silver, red and blue. The logo looks great but all the rest of the piece is transparent. Looks like a horn button face but all the ones on Google are either colored all over or show a model name. TIA for any help.

Don't know about legality but what is the point? Is the seller a registered dealer?

Thanks for your responses, I agree it may have an aircraft connection. Does anyone know of any online sources that I could access?

I recently acquired a rear seat armrest from a 65 that I'd like to install in my 63 Riviera. Will this attach easily, or will there be some fab work involved?
Thanks,
Adrian
I'm not sure but I imagine you will have to remove the rear seat and the armrest will replace the metal divider panel in the center.

That engine looks and sounds great!

It looks to have rough edges, like it is only a part of something.
Edges are smooth, it actually looks new, or restored.

I guess I am one of the few that love the '60 Fords. My Dad bought a new low end 2 door sedan with 292 and Fordomatic and little else. He covered the seats with clear plastic covers, I hated those! Kept it a long time and put on a lot of miles including many driving vacations. I would love to have one today but it would have to be a Starliner.

Nice but expensive. If I was independently wealthy I would own one example of every 1960 GM car with the bubbletop roof like my '60 Buick.

I have a small Dodge Brothers emblem on Ebay sale now which I assume to be a watch fob. It matches the one shown above but does not have the bracket for the strap. I assume they ground it off but they did a really good job, hard to tell. It has a Grammes & Sons makers mark and a nut soldered on the back, what do you think the age may be?

Beautiful wagon. Definitely preserve, not restore.

The 4 door XL like this was a factory model, one of my favorite Fords. XL package included buckets, console, floor shift, special door panels, pedal trim, and exterior emblems. I love the 4 door fastback styling.
