If damage did occur like a rock chip in the windshield it would be covered by the transporters insurance.
Have you ever tried to to collect from a transporter's insurer on a claim? No amount of money could be for the aggravation involved in trying to do so, IMHO.

Here is another. Can it be worth what the buyer is asking, given the conditon?

The location of the device is where the spare tire was situated on my 1963 Corvair.

1959 Oldsmobile is close, but no cigar?

Perhaps the question should be, "Who among us has not wrecked a car when they were younger?"
My worst wreck was when I was around 17. I was leaving my girlfriend's house and had gone about a block when a woman came over a hill on the approaching intersecting road (unable to be seen until she crested the hill) and failed to yield, as per the sign.
My 60 Olds Super 88 t-boned her right in the driver side door of her 1958 Ford 4-door sedan. As a result of the impact her front bench seat came free of its moorings. As it rose up in the air it hit the door handle on the passenger side of her car and opened the door. Both her and the bench seat exited the car. I viewed her laying on the ground and thought I killed her.
I immediately ran to a house on the corner, knocked and asked to use the phone; no cells phones back then. The lady of the house turned and started walking. I followed. Next thing I know both of us were standing in her bathroom! Evidently the phone was right next to me when I entered the home and did not see it.
Turned out the woman I hit sustained a broken hip. I had to hire a lawyer and sue her. I recall going with my attorney to collect the settlement monies. The woman I hit was present, in a wheel chair!
Did I feel bad? I felt sorry for her, but being a kid I sorely needed the money to have my car repaired and I felt good about getting that money!

It seems strange to me that seller would make mention of "custom hubcaps," but not picture them?

#1 - Yes, the ceiling/roof in this bay has scissor trusses, raising the height.
#2 - No matter which ride happens to be on the lift, it will have a heavy duty plastic drop cloth attached to the undercarriage to catch whatever/everything.

Thanks! Now I see it, in your image and the original. In the original, to me, it looks just like another rock in the background?

Right now I am reading a book titled, Once in a Great City - A Detroit Story by David Maraniss. It has an extensive discussion of the Ford T-5; which was the name given to Lee Iacocca's Mustang development project.

I would venture to say this photo was taken at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

It says the trans are id'd by counting the pan bolts.

A good pub. Sorry to see it go.
Would like to see the Oldsmobile edition.

I have one, and my car too is totally black. It lifts the dust off the surface quite well IMHO. I do shake the duster brush out before/after each use. Do not know if doing so has any real, as opposed to perceived, effect, but it is what I do.
Very pleased with mine! Been using it for 15 years now.

Well, I understand your technical point, but in the end I do believe we are talking the same thing?
In the 98 model if one special ordered -No Clock- the "plate, blank or cover" standard on the 88 would be installed and would then be called a clock delete.
-
Not familiar with the '41, but have had that problem surface when the synchronizer goes bad.

Mr, please help me. Why write clock delete? Is an optional?
I used the term "clock delete" to identify the emblem plate in the housing on the dash (top/center) where a clock, if ordered, would have been installed. That may be the common name, as opposed to the official/technical name for the part.

It is not a 'delete'. A clock was always an option on the 88 models.

I do not understand what you are saying, here. Probably me? If "a clock was always an option" then when one chose not to order that option instead of clock in that location a plate would with the Oldsmobile emblem, a.k.a. clock delete plate, would be installed. Would it not?
