Let me add my 2 cents: The hesitation may not be caused by the carb at all. On my 55 Cad it was caused by the distributor vacuum advance which I ended up having rebuilt.
On the carb rebuild, this web page detailing my experience may be of interest?

Had to be an "important person" to snag that low of a number plate?

Went to college in Indy 65-69. Athletic Dir of college (Cleon Reynolds) was also the Fire Chief at the track.
At practice was on pit row in 1968. Watched as driver came into the pits. It appeared he was not slowing down, and headed right for me.
Fact of the matter, he was. I jumped out of the way. Unbeknowst to me, I was standing smack-dab in the middle of the pit row fire station and his car was on fire! The burning fuel produced no visible flame as it was not gasoline but ethanol, alcohol or some such?

It indeed was a great race! That said the coverage provided by NBC was simply horrendous IMHO!

Cool, yes or no? - My answer is interesting.
The Dodge Lancer type aftermarket wheel covers have to go!

"Hard as a rock Recaro seats." I loved my 92, including the looks of the seats. Now as for comfort, they simply did not cut the mustard!
-
The ebay listing refers to "factory upholstery coverings." Not a big MOPAR person, but I tend to doubt that Plymouth delivered cars with clear plastic "fFngerhut style" seat covers?

Attached s the illustrated T-3 guide -
A supplier of T-3 headlamps is Lectric Limited; found here <==. Now, I do not know whether they have early (single) T-3 headlamps. The only ones I have seen are for quad headlamp set ups. Can't hurt to inquire of them?
