  1. Is there any kind of schedule for the meet in Pittsburgh?  I was thinking about coming over the the mills to look at the Hupps.  Is there a better day/time to view them???  There is a car cruise there on Wednesday evening, will the Hupps be there?

Thanks Matt, I was able to open the link and I think I have it figured out.  I do have one question, if I may:  It looks like a car must have a First Junior Award before it can compete for a Senior Award?  So if, for example, a car achieved a 2nd or 3rd Junior when initially judged, it must further compete and secure a First Junior in order to receive a Senior award?  Is that correct?

Yes, you must first obtain the 1st Junior to compete for a Senior Award.

  3. Everything is a go for the 2021 Crosley National Meet in Wauseon Ohio on July 8-10.  "Homecoming 2021, Together Again".  You will see everything Crosley at this meet, and make friends as we are a very friendly bunch.

If you would like a ride in a Crosley just ask an owner, you may even get lucky enough to drive one.  A few years ago I was talking to a couple that was interested in buying a Crosley roadster and I had my Hotshot there.  He asked if they could sit in it and I said sure, when they were in it I told them take it for a drive around the fairgrounds.  They were thoroughly shocked but off they went.  They were very grateful for the drive and family atmosphere.

Activities will start on Monday and continue all week long, but the official days are Thursday, Friday and the show on Saturday.

  4. I have all the paint codes for everything from Valspar, R/M, DuPont, PPG etc., but when we mixed those codes with the Valspar formula it was the dark purple blue you see on the lower front quarter.

OK, I think I got everything worked out.  I went to API paint store and they have PPG paints, I told them what I have, I even drove the Lincoln down just in case, and he got out the paint chip book!  So much easier with a actual paint chip, compared it to the car and was spot on.  He said he would mix up 4oz. and see how close it was and it was good.  So instead of running out of paint I got 1/2 gallon and all the necessary additives and now I should be able to mask it off again and paint it the right color.  We both feel that the Valspar paint formula was wrong.  They were very nice to deal with and he said if I had any problems let him know and he will figure it out.

So, we shall see next week after Memorial Day.
