  1. Sounds great! Are the new calipers still single piston? IMHO use braided stainless brake lines when you replace the rubber lines. you'll have even better feel and control. When will you do your braking distance tests? Can't wait for the results, Kenny
  2. Windshields, and all the other glass, are designed to stay in place during a crash.Makes it very hard to remove without breaking. Just my opinion, Kenny
  3. Pre metric Brits also used the Witworth measuring system ask someone who tinkers with pre WW2 brit bikes.
  4. That front facia can be done in fibreglas fairly easily. Carve it out of foam and do a hand lay up.I had a very similar front air dam/spoiler for my 67 mustang that was made by Meiers, maybe one of their parts could be modified to fit. We used thr round holes for cooling ducts to the brakes.Just an idea, Kenny
  5. FSM is the field service manual. use the 89 version. sign up under documentation, get your name and password, and look it up. hope you have a high speed connection but it does work on very slow dial up [like mine]

  8. As far as I know and have tried they can be dyed or painted but will look like ****. New seat covers are available in correct leather and paterns from www.buickreattaparts.com They are plug and play with the wiring in place under the seat and/or carpeting. No idea on rarity or cost, but the more experienced members may know. Kenny

  14. Nav info is great up where you can see it easily! I told you to build a heads up display so you don't even have to take your eyes off the road. Seriously, sounds like a great idea.what's your source for a 7" display? Kenny
  15. The elector-luminecent console lights and the switch pannel lights are out on my 88 coupe. The ic lights dim when the headlights are turned on and brighten when headlights are turned off. Is this an inverter problem? If it is, who has one for sale and how hard to change? Thanks, Kenny

  18. I believe you unbolt the compressor from the brackets so it can be moved out of the way without disconnecting the lines. I am sure someone will correct this if I'm wrong. Kenny
