  5. I have been following this post, I would suggest you inspect the ignition points, sounds like there might not be enough clearence when the cam is on the high side to open them. Should be .015-.017 clearance when on the open (high) cam. If you don't have enough clearnce at the points the coil doesn't get enough time to load for the next shot. You can also test this with a dwell-meter. Go from neg side of coil to ground with the meter, should read 28-31 degrees. Good luck, Buford 8.

  14. NAPA has just the pump, it is about 18.00, the entire kit is about 30.00 so it just makes sense to buy the complete kit to freshen the carb. Good luck! Buford 8

  20. Hi Guys, who do you go to for a good trunk seal on a 1948 Buick Roadmaster fastback? My trunk leaks and I can smell exhaust. The seal looks good, it is glued down around the perimeter of the trunk opening but if I give it the dollar-bill test it doesn't make contact with the deck lid. Thanks, Buford 8.

  23. Hello, I need to buy a right side (passenger) hood release handle assy. I noticed a small crack in the bezel that surrounds the handle on my Roadmaster. Thanks for any help. Buford 8
  24. Find an Auto body supply store, ask for an Auveco catalog. They should be able to supply you with any trim clips you might need. Good luck! Buford 8.
