Hello everyone, newbie here. My car is a 1948 Buick Roadmaster. I am having some issues with the hood. It seems the hood hinges are loose and sloppy and I need some input on how to repair this problem. The hood jumps up when I encounter a large truck at highway speeds in some wind conditions. So far the hood has not come loose entirely but it is a big concern to me to try and make this hood assembly work properly. I am a retired bodyman but don't have much experience with these old Buicks. It almost seems like something is missing? like maybe springs? Thanks for any help, Buford 8.
