  1. FYI, I'm 95% sure the 42 Dodge rear bumpers components are the same for 46 - 48 Dodge. I know the front bumpers are totally different but I'm pretty sure the rears are the same. Good luck on the clock. They were manufactured by Borg in 1941. As you probably know, the US government purchased many cars directly from the civilian car production line, and put them into military use. They didn't need the clocks draining the battery so they took them out, if they had them. Some of these clocks have been sitting on military surplus shevles. Those individuals that have them, don't know what they go to. Keep looking. Ron
  2. Reg, I checked the parts guy in CO and the car was sold a while back (old photo in ad). I'm pretty sure Moore's Salvage in South Dakota has a 42 Dodge parts car. They may be able to help. Ron
  3. Glenn, I'll wet your whistle a little. Attached you should find a sample of the 42 Dodge photos I have run across or have had forwarded to me. Along the right edge are factory photos. Toward the lower left are two station wagon looking things were factory modified sedans to be used as small busses or for other similar uses. Ron
  4. olddodge42, Welcome to the world of 42's. Although I have seen a few photos of 42s with 46-48 tail lights, to the best of my knowledge, none were sold that way. Nor would it seem logical that the newer trim pieces would be available if the plants were being switched over to war time production. Not the time to reinvented the wheel. All 42 Dodge Cars did have the trim piece that was an extension of the grill, wrapping around the front fender to the front tire opening. Trim pieces that were mounted behind the front tire opening and on both sides of the tire opening on the rear fender were unique to the Custom Models. One obsevation that I had made that may or may not be true, Custom models produced shortly after Pearl Harbor may have recieved Deluxe Front clips and rear fenders meaning no exterior Custom trim nor holes for the trim. I would like to know if anyone else has noticed that. I have seen 2 car this way so far. I have not found any door panels for the 42 Dodge Deluxe or Custom models. These are unique to the 42 Dodge models and the Deluxe differ from the Customs. So few exist that it probably isn't worth developing a pattern. Looks like you got plenty of responses to the fuel pump question. Let me know if I can help you with anything else. (I'll attach a photo of my 42 Deluxe Sedan) Ron
  5. Reg, I'll take a look and see what sections I may have. If you want, I can send pictures of what each piece looks like in case you find them at a swap meet. Ron
  6. Chip, The only place that I found (about 5 years ago) was Northwest Transmission Parts. I had to ship my fluid drive to them and they shipped it back a couple of weeks later. I don't have their info in front of me so I searched on the web. I believe this is them. Northwest Transmission Parts. 13500 US Route 62 Winchester, Ohio 45697 Information Line: 937-442-2811 Fax Line: 937-442-6555. Good luck. Ron www.northwesttransmissionparts.com
