Not everyone still owns every car they've ever purchased
But yes, sometimes you buy the car you love becomes it comes your way even if it's not your forever car, because you appreciate it.
Yep!

Howdy Chris,
That one's actually mine It's an amazing time capsule. Tampico Red is a beautiful color and looks great on this car, but unfortunately red isn't my color. So I'm letting this time capsule find a new home so I have the space & funds ready when another gem (that's not red or white) becomes available.Ah, got it, you are a Buyer and after you buy it then you are a Seller.

$21,100.....MINUS the cost of eBay seller's fees. So, the seller will be lucky to net somewhere in the neighborhood of $19,000 for the car. Perhaps they could have done better by asking a little lower direct sale price, when the seller first posted the car at $28,000 on Facebook. Just thinking a little about the marketing strategy. John
After ebay fees, he would have cleared about $21k. Ebay fees for vehicles are under $100.

If it's a true early production, small letter Gran Sport, wouldn't the vinyl top be incorrect, since it was a spring of '65 option?
Yes, owner says it is true early production, and vinyl top was added during the restoration.

This 71, was the only year that featured” Full Flow” rear vents, that makes this car especially rare. Only 33,810 made 50 years ago!
The “Boat tail” was inspired partially from the 63-67 corvettes body style, with an addition of a rear seat for the Riviera.
Said to be completed not long after the car was purchased, is the current color of Bamboo Cream Y-50 an exclusive GM color No. 2175, as the lady of the house did not like its original color of
Copper Mist S-65. For 50 years it has survived the test of time with regular maintenance and care both inside and out. Largely Original this car has only 39,000 original miles.
This rare classic body style only manufactured 3 years from 71-73 was arguably before its time. This 1971, was the lightest and is the most powerful of the 3 years at 330 hp, from its 455 cu in, 4 barrel, big block. This example is well equipped and rides beautifully. Also featured is Turbo Hydromantic 400 transmission. Full vinyl top. Distinctive interior. Power window, power front seat, power steering, power disc brakes, factory air, AM/FM/8 track radio and the spare is original and has never been down!!!
Original documentation includes, original bill of sale from 1971 , Bill of Sale from 2016 to current owner, Probate estate transfer in 2016, Last registration to Original Owner in 2016. Consumers performance manual, FM Stereo Manual, Protect-O-Plate, build code card, Owners Manual, to support the authenticity.- 1

you should post a new topic for "parts wanted" in the buy / sell forum so you get more eyeballs on it.

The photos included appear to be from a dealership, no interior or engine pics, no VIN, no lic plates, etc. Never seen the car in WA. Looks to be a fake ad to me.......
Did a little searching around, found an old ad for it:

One owner, always stored inside garage or under carport.
Never driven through a car wash, always hand washed.
A professional detail and wax job would probably make it look like it just rolled off the dealership showroom floor back in 1991. Definitely qualifies as collector car status.
Have all service records. Service was always done at Jim Weston dealership in Gresham (where it was originally purchased new) or sometimes at Beaverton Buick dealership with no deferred maintenance.
Still have the factory window sticker.
2 Door Coupe.
Power steering/windows/locks/mirrors/seat/brakes
AM FM cassette audio system concert sound system with steering wheel mounted controls and power antenna.
Luxurious cloth interior upholstery with wood trim.
FOB Remote key-less entry.
