1965 Buick Riviera Gran Sport
Is the title at the top of the BAT post. 😉
That is the real Gran Sport Ed, this is the one we are talking about.

The dealership referred to the car as a 1965 Riviera, nowhere in the ad did they say it was a Gran Sport.
-
I believe this used to be Dick Sweeney's car at one time.
-
I think I could make room for any of these:😀
65 Riviera black Gran Sport (1st place winner, ROA, Kansas City)
’71 Riviera GS Cascade Blue, highly optioned and freshly restored (78K original miles)
'50 Buick Special Deluxe 2-door Jetback (all original)

Not everyone still owns every car they've ever purchased
But yes, sometimes you buy the car you love becomes it comes your way even if it's not your forever car, because you appreciate it.
Yep!

Howdy Chris,
That one's actually mine It's an amazing time capsule. Tampico Red is a beautiful color and looks great on this car, but unfortunately red isn't my color. So I'm letting this time capsule find a new home so I have the space & funds ready when another gem (that's not red or white) becomes available.Ah, got it, you are a Buyer and after you buy it then you are a Seller.

$21,100.....MINUS the cost of eBay seller's fees. So, the seller will be lucky to net somewhere in the neighborhood of $19,000 for the car. Perhaps they could have done better by asking a little lower direct sale price, when the seller first posted the car at $28,000 on Facebook. Just thinking a little about the marketing strategy. John
After ebay fees, he would have cleared about $21k. Ebay fees for vehicles are under $100.

If it's a true early production, small letter Gran Sport, wouldn't the vinyl top be incorrect, since it was a spring of '65 option?
Yes, owner says it is true early production, and vinyl top was added during the restoration.
