  1. I would love to have Chip Foose do any of my cars, he always tries to get the in put on how the owner would like the car done, and I think he does a very classy job on what ever he does, unlike Boyd where it's his way or no way.

Attached is a 68 Impala, work in progress

  2. Any one out there that owns a red Reatta conv. that was on US 131 north of Grand Rapids yesterday? If so I was the one towing the Light blue VW beetle conv. (see pic) I was going to try to get your attention and hold up the cruise info for the Reatta home coming, but thought twice about doing it while we were doing 70+ on the high way. Hope to see you in Lansing on Sept. 15

  3. I totally agree, I also try to buy American made products. I make an effort to look at where the product is made when buying and most people would be suprised to find out it's not in the good old USA. I have paid more for an item when I had a choice of one made in American or one made in China. My point I was trying to make about Craftsman is they are getting cheaper just to compete with all the crap coming from over sea.

  4. The closest Harbor Freight to me is 75 miles one way.......well I went yesterday to pick one up and it was about $8, Its a good thing I had other shopping to do, other wise it would have cost me another $25 in gas just to get it (I took my 16 mpg on the high way gas hog instead of my 36 mpg 90 Reatta, was towing a trailer for other shopping)

    About Craftsman

I to once bought nothing but Craftsman, but they are getting cheaper and when I took my ratchet in to get it replaced they gave me a repair kit to fix it my self, now they don't give you a new tool they give you a rebuilt replacement, what happens when I break my hammer? are they going to give me a roll of duct tape and a splint?

My craftsman snow shovel they don't even make any more, and when I ask the sales man what will he give me when I bring that in, his reply was a different brand that will no longer give me the "Life time warranty"

  5. I have tried turning the key on and waiting for 10 - 15 sec. and it doesn't seem to be any better, the way I have to start it now is crank it for about 5-10 seconds then wait, crank another 5-10 seconds, then wait and then it usually starts, on the 3rd try, some times it takes an exter 5-10 sec. of cranking but it will always start.

I will try the seq. you have mention and let you know what happens.

  6. Ok I'm still having the hard start problem on my 89, after the car sits for awhile it will crank but does not start right up, it will start after what seems to be a lot of cranking. I replaced the fuel pump, fuel sending unit, and fuel pressure switch, any ideas where to go from here?

  7. I went the 1st couple of years but then stopped going, to many people and it's nothing but a long parking lot now. The 1st year was the best, we parked at the north west side of 13 mile and Woodward and watched the drag races from the stop light, what was nice about this is that the police were also watching and letting it happen, the show didn't stop until after 1am...........ahhh the good old days.

The very 1st year we took a 68 Chevy Impala, a 3/4 ton 4x4 3 door Chevy Suburban, 2 different sandrail, a 81 Corvette, a 73 Mustang conv. a 84 Mustang conv. & 74 Vw Baja, needless to say we may many trips back to the house to get each car, my Insurance agent loved me back then.

  8. I have the Inflatable Restraint and Electrical Problem light coming on in my 90 Reatta, I did the codes and it's coming up with r021c and r026h I know the c is the current, but I can not find out what this is and how to fix it. Any one out there who knows what this is and how to fix it?
