Does anyone know if records were kept by year for the number of cars built with the dual side mounts ?
How about the extra cost ?

Yes, it will fit. It's a 218 from a 1948-49 Dodge pickup.

Could the other be for a truck ?

Would that tranny also work for a 1935 dodge ?

Since your cable is broken cut off 6" from the speedo end, put it in your drill and in reverse gear see if it works smoothly. Try a drop of oil if it's sticking.

The fluid drive coupling is kind of like two opposing fans close to each other. One fan turns the other. There is no mechanical connection between the fans.

Only about 3.5 hours left on the auction.

Well, here's what I know.
Both the 33 and 34 Plymouths did not have a water distribution tube in the top of the block and the water jacket around the cylinders did not extend all the way down to the bottom of the bore.
Neither of the 33-34 heads will interchange with the 35 and later engines.

Blakew,
I want to install seat belts in my 33 PD 4 dr sedan and wondered if you had any photos of your installation. Did you have to cut slots on the back of the front seat ?
Thanks,
Reg

From the door, bedside and windshield it looks like a 35 to 38.

My old 35 Dodge engine is pretty dirty inside so when I use detergent oil it turns black in a day or so. If I run non-detergent oil in it the color stays like the color of honey for months.
Just my experience.
