I might have one. Can you post a photo or two of the one you need ?
Or send them to me directly at rego@hughes.net

Does it have the horn mounting bracket ?
-
Yes, why do you ask ? I purchased them from Dodge City Vintage.

Thank you for posting those photos Knobless. Your stands look to be a little different than the ones I got from Dodge City Vintage. See photo of my passenger side stand. I think your photo is also of the passenger side. It appears that your horn brackets hang off the top of the stand and mine have bolt holes on the side for mounting a bracket.

Does anyone here have the brackets that mount the dual horns to the headlight stands. I have the stands with bolt holes for the horn brackets but don't know what the hardware looks like that mounts the horn to the stand.
Does anyone here have a set available or at least some close up photos so I could maybe make my own.

Here's some on the bay that are like the ones on my 33 Plym.

The car is not a hardtop. It's a 4 door sedan. I think hardtops were available with only 2 doors.

Neat truck ! What's it need to be a reliable and safe driver ?
-
Air shocks will lift it back up. I once had a 40 Plymouth that sagged about 2" at the left rear. I installed 1 air chock on that side and pumped it back up to level.

Is that a hole for the crank ? I'm going with Jacks first guess and Spinneyhills guess.

Nice ! That's just like one I bought in 1964 for $40. It was nearly perfect but had no engine. I sold it to a friends older brother and to my horror he chopped it up to make a trailer. :~(

I'm not sure what the body numbers mean but thought I'd post my 42 Dodge body number here too in case someone does.
Mine is 1069TPO and is a business coupe.

You can get it from the post. Right click on the image. Select Save Image As. Save (edit name first!) in a location of your choice. Find the file in File Explorer and open it with your favourite photo viewer. Done.
I tried that a couple of ways and it is still blurry but a little clearer. Does the 33 say 88psi or 83 ?

Okay Tod. or anyone else........ Any ideas where I can find a good '34-'41 ?

Hi Reg , what octane gasoline are you running ? It is best to use the lowest octane gasoline available. You may also advance the timing a few degrees. Octane when your car was built was probably 60 or so. Even the lowest grade gasoline today is made for much higher compression , and higher volumetric efficiency. - Carl
Carl, I run regular in all my cars including my 05 Ram 1500 w/a hemi. I will try advancing the timing a little.
Spinneyhill, Can you send me that page listing the nominal compression values. I can't read it on this forum...too blurry. email to rego@hughes.net. Many Thanks !

I am running stock size tires 17 x 5.25. The stock engine has a carter 1 bbl downdraft....small bore. I wonder....will a later model intake manifold with the larger bore carb fit my 33 to go along with my cast iron dual exhaust headers ?

Thanks Spinneyhill,
I only got as far a bone head math in High School so I'm not sure what the * and the 1.3 mean but 119 p.s.i. sounds real good.
Can you express that formula so a cave man would understand ?
