  1. I have a fantastic 1988 for sale in Florida!! I listed once before but maybe had too much personal information. Here Ya Go. Even if not interested give me feedback. 1988 Silver Grey Interior Suede bolsters Cassette deck Original Floor Mats Almost new tires Goodyear Everything in this car is working as it should. Vehicle never in an accident Everything is original to the car, less standard repair and replace Paint is in great shape, front looks better than my 2000 year car No rips no tears no cracks in any of the leather or vinyl. The carpets are in great shape, no stains. Floor mats are in pretty good shape they clean up well. Mileage is 89,500 Condition is above average. Vehicle garage kept. Asking price is $3,800 negociable for any reasonable offer. Not interested in giving her away, but the time and space I don't have. She needs a home, she is very reliable, never broken down, all records from new, all original paperwork comes with her including the window sticker. You may reach me at 561-784-9884 after 6 weekdays and on weekends is hit and miss. My email address is djpj715@yahoo.com. If you would like I will send you pictures of her.
  2. Hey,nic walker thank you for you response. You will definately see a grown man cry the day she leaves.
  3. Well I guess I am going to do this!! I have some very mixed feelings on making this move however I am just too busy to enjoy such a great machine. I own a 1988 Silver Reatta with grey interior and suede bolsters. The paint is in good condition considering it is original, there are a 3 door dings that are noticable but not bad, and one spot near the bottom of the door where the paint had gotten chipped. The interior is in remarkable condition, there are no cracks or, spots in the leather or carpet. She still has the original floormats which are in good condition also. I have most of the records, for all services since the car was new. It was very well mantained by the original woman that bought the car. Truthfully it looks as if the garage saw her comming, every time the car went for service they changed the spark plugs and wires, and charged her to put it on the computer, change the oil all at a tune of $300.00 each time or more. I am the third owner and have also taken very good care of her. The breaks have been flushed and maintained, the headlight motors have been rebuilt, oil changed, transmission flushed and new fluid and conditioner, new thermostat and anitfreeze flush, there has been many services and changed parts that you will get if you purchase this vehicle. Everything works in this car, right down to the cassette deck. She run and purrs like a kitty, the transmission shifts great and fluid stays nice and pink. I would not hesitate to take her on a long trip. She spends all her time guarding the garage floor from getting dusty. In the last 7 months I have only used just over 1/2 tank of gas. Incrediably this 16 year old car only has 89,700 miles on her, which is 5600 miles a year. The only thing that I have not fixed is she leaks a little transmission fluid, other than that all is working great. The tires are in very good condition, the wheels are nice and shiney, the car is a great looking car and I really do love her. I will not sell it on ebay due to if I dont think she is getting a good home she will stay with me. I think the greater part of us who are here in this discussion are here due to the breed of this vehicle. She truns a lot of heads, and gets a lot of questions. If you are interested please email me at djpj715@yahoo.com or call me at 561-784-9884 between 6 pm and 10 pm. I am not really excited to sell her since I wanted one since I was 19 when they first came out. all info. 1988 silver / grey suede bolsters black moldings, and pinstriping cassette deck 89,700 miles Selling for $3800.00 I really think that is a fair price watching people selling them for that or more with well over 100,000 miles. Most of which have some real interior blemishes and paint issues. This Reatta is a real clean real pretty and very loved vehicle and will make a new owner very happy. She is located in Palm Beach Florida area and anyone that would like to come see her may set up a time and date.
  4. I could use power window switch.
  5. I wish there was a picture available to see of the plate. I also had posted the get a replica made. It went without much attention in the forum. I am really interested in finding one to put on my Reatta but would like to see what it looks like frist.
  6. Do you have any photo's of the exterior of this car all 4 sides and interior?
  7. Mine is serial number 900676 and has the silver and black
  8. I would be interested in 2 grey ones PLEASE
  9. As if we weren't saddened enough watching the guy part out a perfectly good 1990 red Reatta now he is doing it again with a black one. I can not believe someone could have that little respect for a classic, espically a limited addition. What a shame he couldn't have offered to sell them. As for the story of not being able to get a title that is all a bunch of bull, any seized vehicle can be retitled. Oh well all we can do is hope people buying the parts use them to help restore the ones they have.
  10. Thanks I just spotted 1 set on there.
  11. Do you have any grey ones?
  12. They are looking for suggestions on what they should cost. Kinda strange for them to ask for pricing guidelines but I would not be opposed to paying $25.00, for this one. Also would anyone have a good picture of one they could e-mail me or carmotorsports?
  13. I just e-mailed Alan at carmotorsports to ask the approximate cost, will let you know as soon as I have a reply.
  14. I have seen others inquiring about these license plate screws and valve stem caps. Answer, I e-mailed carmotorsports.com and got the response!! License Plate screws are ready and available at their web site. Valve stem caps are still in the works. But the other interest I have is a front plate. I asked if they offered a replica of the orig. they responded, and said if there was enough interest they would make them. I guess if you are also interested either e-mail them at carmotorsports.com. If no one is interested in e-mailing him I can start a list of names and send to them as well.
  15. Well, as far as where the leak was, it was where the drive shaft went into the side pan of the engine. However, most were telling me the whole tranny had to come out to change this gasket, Jerry showed me the repair book and only the "a-frame assembly" had to come out, since it was up there I thought it would be better to change that gasket also, due to they only tagged $75.00 on to the repair bill. Better to change now than have to go back up there, in my book. The main warning for all was to be cautious when tranny shops want to pull your tranny for nothing better than to rip you off.
  16. I have discovered a couple guys in Riveria Beach back in 1999 who are tops!!! I used to have them work on my 1987 Park Ave, Jerry was a mechanic for Buick then went on his own. They are not the cheapest game in town, but believe you me they are a thorough, and honest, I took my Jeep to them and they found a problem with the 4x4 which they told me Jeep would hastle me about warranting, but it was covered, sure enough they gave me a hard time, but fixed it free. As most of the shops would have fixed it and charged you for it. I have a good leaker of trans fluid in my 1988 Reatta, others said the tranny needed to come out and replace the side pan gasket costing over $500.00. I called Jerry and he said he did not believe that would leak and told me where the leak was and fixed it for $300.00. The shop is called Professional Automotive, located off Blue Heron on Gardens Road, (561) 845-2311. Jerry and Eric are the 2 guys there, you never have to worry about some under paid worker that doesn't care touching your baby. The only down side is the hours are 8 to 5 Monday through Friday, but if you can swing getting it to them and picking it up you won't regret it. I had asked to find a shop earlier in the year because I had forgotten about them since I work so far from home, making the hours thing difficult for me. Hope this helps Palm Beach and Broward Reatta owners.
  17. Sounds cool I will take a set of license plate screws and a set of the valve stem caps also
  18. I have a friend looking for one of these after seeing mine. I purchased mine for $2,300.00 it is an 88 with 88,000 miles. Really I got a steel but if you are looking somewhere in this range drop me a line, and I will let Mike know or you could put it on e-bay
  19. Thank You for replying I will certianly try to look him up.
  20. I am looking for a good mechanic in the Palm Beach area. I have seen a few Reattas in the Royal Palm Beach area and wondered if anyone knew of a well trained mechanic who is reasonable in the area.
