Mine did the same thing. There was an issue with the connector at the sensor on the transmission. Apparently the female terminal inside the connector was too large and results in intermittent signal to the spedo. If the WD40 hasn't ruined the spedo head, the part number for the improved connector is 4419586. It comes with instructions on how to repair.

I took mine to a local exaust/muffler used by the guys who build hot rods and have their custom exaust work done there. They replaced the cat & muffler with performance types and installed 2 1/2 inch pipe all the way (no resonators like stock). They also used stock mounts from the old system. Not only does it sound good but performance improved, especially the turbo spool up time. I like the change. It cost $325 total which I thought was reasonable.

My son bought a house with an abandoned '44 Plymouth in the yard. It's all there including the glass and intact interior. Question: Is this a rare model to restore due to being made during WWII? Or should we turn it into a street rod like he wants to? Thanks for any input.

Anyone help with this one? My 89 has an engine vibration at 2K RPM. It is there moving or stationary. As the RPM approaches 2.5k the vibration goes away. I have changed the front engine mount but not the others. Ideas?

Larry, I have the same issue. I adjusted the side latch brackets down as far as they will go. If the rubber on the top is distorted, are there replacements? I have an annoying rattle because the latch is loose on 1 side.

On the bypass ramp headed for work. A BMW Z3 on my tail. Floor it on the acceleration lane and watch the boost hit 13PSI. Looking in the mirror, the Z3 was toast.
