  1. I am looking for an old Buick sign or dealer clock for my garage. It could be neon, porcelain, or painted as long as it is original. My email address is pint4@new.rr.com. Thanks. Bob
  2. I am getting ready to remove the manifolds off my 33 Buick. They have not been removed since new. Does anyone have any hints or guidance for me as to how to remove them without damaging anything else? I would like to avoid snapping off the exhaust manifold bolts for starters. If you have any ideras at all, I am open to them. My email address is pint4@new.rr.com. Thanks! Bob
  3. I am investigating the possibility of reproducing the 3 piece 1933 Series 60 Buick Exhuast manifold. I would need to do somwhere around a dozen or so to make it worth while. Is there interest? I also plan to check at the National Meet and run an ad in the Bugle. My goal is to break even and do it at a price that other collectors can afford so we can keep these old Buicks on the road. Anyone need one? Thanks. Bob
  4. I would like to attend the Packard national Meet in South Bend, In. I have never attended a National Packard Meet. I checked with some of the local South Bend hotels. Does anyone have a list of the hotels that might still have rooms? Looking for something in the $80 to $100 dollar range. Any suggestions. Would be nice if it wasn't too far from the meet, for example 5 miles or less. Any help would be appreciated. My email is pint4@new.rr.com. Thanks. Bob
  5. I am looking for 1933 Buick parts, parts car, or whole car. Contact me at pint4@new.rr.com Thanks. Bob
  6. I am looking for a reliable 6 volt fuel pump that will work with today's modern gas/ethanol blend and is suitable for a 30's era car that uses a low pressure fuel pump design. Where can I buy one? I have a 1933 Buick that I want to convert to electric fuel pump for reliabilty reasons. Thanks. Bob

  8. I am looking for a Pierce Arrow from the 1930's. Does anyone have one for sale or know anyone who has one for sale? My email address is: pint4@new.rr.com Thanks. Bob
  9. The center section on my 1933 Series 60 Buick exhaust manifold has a fairly significant crack and needs to be replaced or repaired. I am told the car will accept Series 60 Buick manifolds from 1933, 34 and 35. I am looking for a good replacement. The option is to get it repaired. Are there shops out there that repair cracked exhaust manifolds? I would prefer to buy a replacement if anyone has one for sale. My email address is: pint4@new.rr.com Thanks. Bob

  12. Fred, Thanks for the info. You have been a great help. As you might expect, my center section is cracked and my ends are good. I know a lot of street rodders are using 34 - 35 Buicks, Large Series, to make into street rods with late model drive trains. I need to talk to someone who might have a complete manifold assembly. I am sure there are a few out there-just need to find them or if I am lucky, they might find me. I would like to have this Buick on the road this summer if I can find a good exhaust manifold. Take care! Bob
  13. The small arm that is sticking out on the side of the light seems to work like a switch. It slides back and forth. That is why the unpaintedf surface doesn't have paint on it. It's a shiel that prevent dirt and moisture from getting inside the light fixture when the switch is moved back and forth. Is there a Model T catalog or accessory booklet that shows a light like this? I have never seen one. Thanks. Bob
  14. I never would have guessed this part was once a part of the steering wheel assembly. But I guess it makes sense. I learned something new. Must not be a rare part-they made a ton of 55's and I would imagine this part ever wore out.
  15. Did Buick essentially put the same engine in their Series 60 cars from 1933 to 1935? I am told parts are interchangeable. Any truth to that. Does anyone know if I can use an exhaust manifold off a 34 or 35 Buick to use on my 33 Buick? There must be an expert out there somewhere who has an interchange manual or has made the swap. Let's keep these cars on the road and rolling! Thanks. Bob
  16. The person I got it from says car or motorcycle. Would probably be a pre-war boar? Never saw one like it on any of the old wood boats I have seen. I thought it might recognizeable by the prism lens. Quite a nice lens. Looks to have an on/offswitch that rotates. Quite interesting piece of history. Bob
  17. This is an unusual light. Two lenses-one red and one clear. Extremely small-could it have been a turn signal? What car does it fit? Or could it be for a motorcycle? It is vry unique-uncovered after more than 60 years of storage. Bob
  18. Ok-I am impressed by how well you know your parts-especially lights. Here's one that might stump a few people. Year, Make, and Model? Bob
  19. I think this part came off a 55 Chev Nomad but I'm not sure because I'm a Buick and Packard collector. Is it possible it is from a 55? I think it might be from a 54 or 56. Bob
