Reatta1, I do not know what your real name is, or your families names, but your family is in our prayers. It's times like this that wake me up and realize that life is to short to be taking advantage of it. I truly wish that there was more I could do to help. Have a wonderful, safe, holiday weekend and may the Lord bless your family. And to the rest of the Reatta forum, you guys also have a great, safe, holiday weekend. Don't eat too much turkey n' trimmin's! Remember: the Reatta is not exactly a big car and you will have to get back down into it!! I know, I have to live with it everyday! That looks like a great cable. currently, I'm running "Monster Cable". I'm sure that you've heard of those. I use that product at home and in my car. And yes, the MB Quart does like power. I am getting ready to install new speakers now. Currently I have a 4-channel amp driving them. when it's all said and done, I will have a 1-channel Xtant amp(cannot recall of-hand the model #)driving each set of speakers. (5.25") w/ there tweeter at the four corners of the Reatta. I already have the Xtant 1001d 1-channel amp(1,000 watts) for the two JL Audio 12" subs in the trunk. You should goto www.jlaudio.com site and research their componet speaker sets. I haven't checked them out yet. If you like them maybe I'll look into it a little better before I go spending the Money on the MB Quarts.

EDBSO, I honestly think that if you had the kappa's in a 5.25" instead of the 6X9, your results would improve. If clarity is what you are looking for, I would have to suggest MB Quart speakers. Check them out and let me know what you think. Sounds like you have a great home system! I'm using Klipsche towers powered by a Yamaha Receiver/amp. Complete with Klipsche center, rears, and a matching 15" 800 watt powered sub. Not to shabby for the money.

I found this ad in a Indiana Auto&RV magazine: 1990 Reatta convertable, 58,000 mi.,price reduced to $13,900. Judging from the color picture, its silver with a black top, ank looks like gray interior. There's a glare on the windows so I can not be sure. The only thing that bothers me is the fact that it has the '91 16" wheels. The dealer that has it is called: Grimm Pontiac-Buick-GMC. And their phone # is 1-888-584-4746 or 1-765-584-5591. It is located in Winchester, IN. Just thought I'd post this so that everybody has a chance to buy this car with no bickering. REATOM, here's your chance, get it before Mr. Sellers(JJR) buys it. LOL P.S. By the way, it has the black side trim. JJR this looks like a car that ALF would like to take to Melmac with him on his return. Plenty of storage compartments for cats.

I would never spill it, that's considered alcohol abuse. But really, I do only drink when a NASCAR race is on or if I'm at the track. I drink Bud to make sure Dale Earnhardt Jr. has enough money to compete in all the scheduled races. At the rate I'm goin' though he sould have been this years points champ and not Tony Stewert!!

EDBSO, the pheonix gold speakers are a great speaker. You get what you pay for. No offense, but comparing the Infinity's to the pheonix gold's is like comparing a 1980 Chevette to a 1991 Reatta. The infinity's are good for the money, thats it. I have also noticed that a round speaker sounds more clear than a oval shaped speaker such as a 6"X9". The 6X9's do seem to have a little more Bass, but for that you'll lack in clarity. I do not have actual proof from a magizine or anything, just from personal experience with my stereo in my Reatta.

1/5 scale!! Wow! Sounds like some salty dogs to me. If you could point me in the direction of some cool online hobby shops besides Tower, that would be great! I'm kinda looking for a carpet racer for the winter.

Karlton, Thats pretty cool that yoo are into R/C racing. I thought I was the only one who done that here on the forum. I have a HPI RS4 3 SS. Pretty quick little Car. Has the .12 SS Nitro burner that produces +1 HP. I think there alot of fun. The track that you listed looks very impressive. Wish I lived closer!

Did ALF take you to Melmac? Come back to the forum? We regulars miss your insight!!

Here's an idea! May be the discussion forum needs to ad a place for un-registered/anonyomous users. There they can sell high priced freon to each other, pick fights among one another, and give out info about cars that they probably do not even own. I think that would settle everybodies problem! No body has to register and the registered users don't have to put up with the constant BS given to us the the anonymous ones.

the tick-tick noise: possibly a feul-injector working on going bad? I had a similar noise in my old IROC, I did a injector tune-up but the noise was still there. I ended up replacing the injectors and the noise went away. Sorry it's not 2 cents worth but it's a free thought! I'll do some searching and get back if I find anything.

Seems to me that the freon boy just cannot drop it! Boy, no body on this forum is goin' to buy from a a**hole salesman. So do all of us a favor and go to the Yugo forum and bother them with with your untasteful salesmanship. Your freon is probably stolen anyway of somebody gave it to you, and your just tryin' to make a quick buck off of cool people like us Reatta owners. You might have been able to sell your R12 had you not suffered from Cranial-Rectum- Inversion!

Congrats on your new-found power. Magna-Flow,never heard of it. where did you find the cat and how much? Also, how did you install your cone filter? I'm looking at different ideas for mine.

The spoiler looks great on your car. I think that I'm gonna go out and find a 'stang spoiler myself. I've seen pics before of some people's Reattas with that wing, but no close-ups. Thanks for providing them for us. P.S. Was the idea of the wing ALF's?
