  1. Needed for a 1980 Regal coupe, 2 tail light assemblies, rear fillers, trunk lid and a left quarter extention. Shoot me a PM if you have the parts. Thanks, Mike
  2. I have listed for sale a 1961 Thunderbird front bumper, grill, push bar and signal lamp assembly. Unit is in driver condition. The chrome is driver quality, can be polished out, used on a driver quality car or is a really nice core for rechrome. Not all pitted up or dented. The only rusty spot is on the push bar on a vertical bar near the license frame where the push bar is rusted inner side. You would almost not see it mounted on a car. Easy repair I would think with stainless weld. The plastic lenses say FT 61. I have pictures. If you PM me an email address I can shoot them to you. Asking $275 + shipping. I will ship unit whole via truck freight on a pallet, cost based on actual buyer location. Mike
  3. I have for sale a nice looking used hood spear and ornament pulled from a 1966 LeSabre 4 door. The hood ornament has good chrome, not all pitted up. The spear has some pitting but shines brilliantly, looks great on the car and all mounting pins are intactt. I also have all but one speed nut. This is a bolt on and use as is part for a driver quality car. Asking $80 for both + shipping. Will ship USPS in a tube to protect the part in shipping. Mike
  4. I have listed a nice straight driver quality (chrome is thin) 1970-1971 Montego Cyclone front bumper. I listed it on Ebay but have had limited looks. I listed it at a fair price ($225) based on what I have into it and the rarity of the part. You could put it on a driver quality Mercury that has a bad or bent bumper or it would be a SUPER core as it is not all pitted up and is very straight. It also has the turn signal assembiles. Lenses say SAE 70 MO. It ends on Ebay shortly but I will keep it listed here if it does not sell. Those things are scarce in nice straight condition. You can PM me with an email address and I will shoot some pictures to you. Asking 225 + the shipping. Mike

  11. I located a 1954 Desoto Firedome with a complete dash, dash pad (not cracked), gagues and igition (with keys). Before I waste my time pulling the parts (and paying the yard guy for them) does anyone need them? I just pulled the clock out too. It is complete and very presentable but seems not to have brought any interest.
  12. Pulled a very presentable dash clock out of a 1954 DeSoto Firedome 4 door sedan. Clock face plastic is clear and intact, has center knob, chrome is very presentable for the age just needs cleaned up and polished. Working condition is unknown. Clock housing on the back is 100% intact, not rusted. Very nice for the age. Car has a perfect dash pad, all gauges are there, ignition is in the car with keys and 3 of 4 DeSoto hubcaps are still on the car. Asking $50 for the clock. PM me with email address and I can send pictures of the clock.
  13. I have access to a 1954 DeSoto clock. Let me know if that is the same.
  14. I dropped the price $20 so someone can snap up a notn bent/non broken 1960 New Yorker grill for right around $100 shipping included! Where you going to find that?

  17. This has really brought out a lot of information and also been one of the most interesting topics I have been part of in a while. Originally, I only wanted to know what interchanged with Buick 215 and what was specific to the Olds version. I knew that the 215 was part of the family of engines that led eventually to the 300 4V (cast iron) in my 1965 LeSabre (Wildcat 355.) That is a nice durable old engine with surprising get up and go with the 4bbl version. I guess thank God I have the cast iron version. Think about it though....Aluminum V8 was neat technology in 1961. I knew that the aluminum engines had problems with the period antifreeze. Just think if coolant of today was available back then. Those light little engines would have kept on going who knows to what degree. Some of the lemons you guys mentioned in the thread I can still vividly remember! Heck, on a quiet day you could hear a Vega rust! I checked the tail lights, car appears to be a 1961. I looked it over again on Saturday when I was there. The car is a time capsule under the hood. Everything is there air cleaner to tailshaft. If anyone needs anything let me know. The car will soon be scrapped along with all the other cars in that yard, owner is retiring and has started to crush the cars in waves.
  18. Found a really neat and complete Olds F - 85 convertible (I believe 1962) in a local yard with a small V8 and a 4bbl. It said high compression on the red air cleaner and I believe it is an aluminum 215 built by Buick? Also, looked inside on the back seat and another intake (aluminum) was laying there. It looks good visually and also has the gooseneck. Help with this one would be appreciated.
  19. Found what I believe is a 1963 F-85 convertible with what looks like a 4bbl Buick 215 V8 in it in a local junk yard. I believe that the Buick 215 was used by Olds too? I found an extra aluminum intake on the back seat of that car stamped 581830X as well as M1AL which I would assume stands for aluminum. Does this intake or the engine in that car have any value? The car already has a 4bbl intake with an old Rochester (4-jet I believe) on it Is that the Buick 215 that ended up in Rover? Do the valve covers on the 215 from that F-85 fit a 300 ci Buick head? Need some help on this one. I'm not really too up on the 61 - 63 small Buick, Olds and Pontiac cars. Mike

  22. I have for sale a nice used 1960 Mercury Monterey steering wheel center. Has the Mercury "M" with a gold oval behind it and M E R C U R Y in gold letters above the M.
