  1. Thanks for the input. I tend to agree now as the owner sent me some more pictures and I see where the issues are. That is why I threw this out there. Sometimes you try to see the good in something but as you think through it you look at what you hope it would be fixed up.
  2. Nice solid battery tray pulled from a 1963 Cadillac that had no business ever being junked. Was easily able to unbolt it from the car from which it was pulled. Surface rust only, bolt holes round and intact, tray itself and lip around the edge is solid. Fine sand paint and ready to go. $30 + shipping. Usually trays from cars this old are acid eaten right through, not this one.
  3. Update: Car has dash cluster, pad and complete steering column. Under the hood the car has the powersteering pump and bracket, master cylinder, brake booster and radiator. Looking at the grill, it is complete and has the headlight assemblies. Some of the interior trim is in the trunk as well. Interior seems to need a front seat, headliner etc.
  4. The good --- from the pictures the car appears to be a fairly solid gold 1966 Riveria with what appears to be good grille (not looking damaged in the pictures), bumpers and front fender corner light assemblies looking intact. Considering the age and how those front end parts get beat up that appears to be a plus. Floor work was done which looks pretty good in the pictures. The bad...no engine or trans which isn't really too much of an issue but it also appears to need a lot of interior parts like door panels, dash pad, arm rests, dash cluster, front seats and interior trim. It doesn't appear to have been a highly optioned car, crank windows etc. I have a 1965 LeSabre convertible and a 1966 Wildcat in my garage already and this would be a nice addition but I don't want to get in over my head looking for rare parts. What are the biggest challenges and what are the weak spots on these Riverias so I can look a little deeper? I know that I looked at a 1966 Riveria back about 5 years ago which had about the worst cowl/upper dash rot I ever saw on a car. I thought that one was going to break in half! Mike
  5. I have for sale a straight 1966 Chrysler grill with headlights and bulbs. Not sure of the working condition of the bulbs. Also have a hood and trunk lid nice condition pulled from the same 4-door car as well as a dash pad. Parts are not rusty. Buyer can arrange for pickup or can ship any way buyer chooses. Prices below + shipping. $100 for grill $100 for hood $100 trunk lid $50 dash pad
  6. I have for sale a nice 1971 Plymouth Fury III grille. All 3 pieces (headlight surrounds and center section) are in really nice shape. No bends or dents in the aluminum and the painted parts still retain nice paint for a parts that old. Really nice 3 piece set. Asking $50 + shipping.
  7. Have a nice used Riveria grill for sale. Hard to find these in a junkyard. $40 + shipping.
  8. I saw your posts on 49 door sill plates. I just found what I believe to be a fairly complete 1949 Olds 88 near my home. Car looks really complete for the age. Would the sills in that be the same as yours? I am a Buick guy (1960's - 1980's) and I pick parts at a small yard near my home to raise the funds to work on my Buicks. Kids (3 going) in college cost a lot so I got creative and buy and sell parts to afford the things I need for my cars without dipping into bill paying capital if you know what I mean. The car is in this tiny yard I frequent. The owner is somewhat hard to get to deal with, I'm trying to warm him up a little, I'm still working on that. I can take pictures of the car if you like! Mike
  9. Check the PM. Sold the grille, grill emblem, ends, hood chrome, trunk emblem and bumpers so far. Have all the side moldings maybe minus the two small front fender pieces which I believe I already sold. Still have all the window trim, side stainless, fin stainless.
  10. I have for sale a head, rocker shaft, valve cover, pushrods, gooseneck and all head bolts pulled from a 1952 Buick Super. I believe the engine to be a 263 CI straight 8 engine. Head was full of nice green antifreeze. I hot tanked the parts and I have pictures. Car was a 4 door Super with a Stromberg carb. PM me with an email address and I can shoot you pictures. Asking $120 + shipping. Mike BCA 37438
  11. Car is a 4 - door so I don't think I can help you much. Radio was already sold, sorry. I sold grille, bumpers front and rear trunk lid emblem. I Still have lots of stainless trim for a 4 door Electra.
  12. Brownish Gold 1963 Cadillac dash pad for sale. Pulled from a gold 1963 Cadillac 2 dr htp. No sun cracks, not discolored, vinyl is in overall good condition. I will call it driver condition because it has one small 1 inch cut in it from from something bumping it (not raised or puckered up at all around the cut) an easy fix. Also, when someone was removing it they forgot to be careful with one of the thin sections that bracket the dash and put a crack in it. Really not bad for the age, shows well and would show nicely in a car if you need one. I have pictures to email if you PM me your email address. It contains the courtesy light and has a good original speaker and grille in it. Asking $75. Mike BCA 36438 1965 LeSabre 400 Conv 1966 Wildcat 2dr htp
  13. I have for sale a 1952 straight 8 Buick manifold. In good condition, no evidence of cracks. Carb was a 2 bbl Stromberg (already sold) I have pictures. Car also has what looks to be a real nice rocker shaft assembly and what I believe to be a rebuildable head. I have not yet pulled them. Asking $300 negotiable. Mike N turbocoupe1@hotmail.com
  14. I have a Straight 8 exhaust manifold for sale pulled from a 1952 Buick Super, no visible cracks or damage asking $300. I also can pull the head and rocker shaft if someone needs them. Mike N turbocoupe1@hotmail.com
  15. Thanks for the info.....it is a 1965 2 bbl non AC sedan car. So I guess it's a 425. Engine looks like if you put a battery to it and some fresh gas it would fire right up. All excessories are there (alternator, power steering pump etc) all hooked up and air cleaner in place. It has a single core radiator complete with Harrison tanks. Interior has a perfect dash pad without cracks. Chrome/ stainless side moldings seem to be all in place. Oldsmobile lettering on hood and trunk lid all there in driver condition. Gotta be somebody out there that needs some parts. You don't see these around for sure. Mike Nerozzi 1966 Wildcat 2dr Htp 401 1965 LeSabre 400 Conv 300 4bbl
  16. I have access to a complete 1965 Delta 88 4-door sedan in driver condition in a small local yard. Yard owner indicated to drove in several years ago. Car has a ton of great parts on it. I litsed some small parts on Ebay but will only pull parts from it as necessary. Car has all trim, complete drive train from radiator to tailshaft, carb 2bbl, nice crack free dash pad and instrument cluster. I would assume it to be a 394? I'm a Buick guy so not exactly sure on that. I will quote prices based on what you need. I can provide pictures of the car upon request. Send me an email and I can shoot pics of it to you. Contact me at turbocoupe1@hotmail.com
  17. Went to the local yard today and found a gold 1963 Cadillac 2 dr cpe that was pretty darn solid. Someone had taken the dash cluster out and actually cut away the back half of the trunk and ends of the quarters. Looks like they wanted to mount the assembly on a wall with the fins, bumper, lights and valence I guess. Car still has lots of good parts. I removed the dash pad (it was laying on the seat) from the front seat and was shocked at how nice. One small 3/4 inch cut (not jagged or puckered) in the vinyl that would be an easy fix. Looked like it was bumped by something. Only damage other than that is one of the small pieces that surround the side of the dash cluster. Looks like the knucklehead who removed the dash cluster forgot about the pin at the bottom and pulled it. Damage is minor. Again, easy fix and wouldn't be almost invisible once installed. Pulled some more parts (listed below) and car has more. Looks like a good hood, trunk lid, glass some trim and I believe driver side door. Grill is there too. I took pictures if you need them. Dash pad, as is $80 (Real nice if you need one and can be vinyl sprayed to match any interior color. Includes the speaker w/ grille and map light assembly. Cruise control unit $80 (Perfect Circle unit) looks like part # on tag is 24G 028703) Includes the cable/wheel assembly running from the dash to the unit and the rods and linkage from the bracket on the fire wall to the unit. Unit is very clean. Working condition unknown. Windshield washer tank $25 (not cracked) along with the small pump mounted next to the wiper motor. Lid is attached to the jug too. Working condition of pump is unknown. Passenger side turning lamp assembly $20 (lense and ribbed frame) Driver side was there too but the screws were stripped out so I can remove the next trip down. Couldn't remove it with the phillips head I had with me. Email me at turbocoupe1@hotmail.com if you like. I can send pictures to your email if you like. Or call 570-333-4895 (Mike)
  18. There is a white Chrysler Imperial 4 door in an old yard near me. I am not sure of the year though. It has all the moldings grille and a complete interior. I have pictures on my cell phone. Shoot me a PM with your email address and I will email you a picture. Not sure if it is a 1964. Mike
  19. Gold color vinyl dash pad driver condition that the sun turned browish. No cracks, can be vinyl sprayed to whatever interior color you want. Has a speaker grille in fair condition. $65 + shipping.
  20. Have trim pulled from a 1960 Electra 4 door. Let me know what you need. Nice grille, stainless, hood "V" molding, headlight bezels etc.
  21. Took a chance and obtained a rebuilt brake booster along with a dual master for 1967 to 1970 full size. Will that work as a replacement in my 65 LeSabre 400 convertible that currently has a single master? What am I up against in the mods? Can't get a good full pedal after new wheel cylinders, brakes, bled etc. Current master is a rebuilt unit only a few years old. Brakes seem to fade as car operates, only thing left is the booster. Tried all over to get the 1965 specific brake booster, nobody stocks it. I didn't want to send my original out to Cardone if I didn't have to cause I still have to move the car in and out of my garage to get to tools, mowers etc. Thoughts?
  22. I have a really nice grille (excellent for 52 years old) with a nice tri-shield center ring. Not perfect but nice for used non NOS. Asking $150 + shipping. I also have both headlight assemblies complete with driver condition rings, asking $60 for the pair + shipping. I also have the ribbed pot metal pieces that go on each side along the headlights (not in the best of shape) $20 + shipping. Tail light assemblies driver condition $40 for the pair. I have most of the stainless side trim from a 1960 Electra 4 door. Looks like much of the window trim, beltline and rocker stainless etc.
  23. Just picked up a huge pile of assorted 1960 Buick Electra parts. Let me know what you all might need and I can list some of the stuff individually in parts for sale as I clean them up. Bezels, trim moldings, awesome rechromed front and rear bumpers, light lenses, nice grille assembly and much, much more. I have yet to even begin to go through and look at everything. I will also provide pictures to document what I have.
  24. Driver condition, used it on my driver Skylark for years until I found a perfect one by chance. I kept it as a spare but have since sold the car and don't need it. Some repairs, solid, stays in place looks nice on a driver car. Visible damaged part that was repaired is hidden by the chrome tri shield assembly (which is included with the grille.) I've seen repaired grilles on Ebay for $250-$290 or more. Asking $130 + shipping. PM me with an email address and I will send you pictures or email me a turbocoupe1@hotmail.com. Mike
