  1. I don't know anything about it, but it is an interesting pin, wonder what the actual size is.

    TRUNCK LOCK

Some spammers scan websites looking for email address. Adding deletemefirst makes the address unusable to them because it will come back as a nonexistant address. They probably never see this but it doesn't matter because you didn't get their spam anyway.
  3. Here is the illustration from the P&I, might help, might not.
  4. Aeghhh, Mr Scanner of anything that will fit on the scanner bed. Here is what the Illustrations of the P&I says about it. Sorry about the confusion, it's not a twilight sensor, it's a Sun Load Sensor. The attached file is what the General has about it. I had to mess with it a little to get it under 100k.
  5. I've done keyboards with sugared coffee spilled on them in the dishwasher for years. It was a common occurance at the bank.
  6. Damn am I being productive tonight. HERE is a website for Buick Car Club of Australia Inc. in N.S.W., it does have a Marketplace link, might not even have to join to list something if you are a BCA member. Maybe start a Reatta craze in Australia. HERE is the parent organizations home page, don't skip the introduction, even on dialup it's pretty quick. Nice web presence. BONUS SITE , sell in Germany, click continue in english waving flag, click tradeing post, get an instant mini german lesson, post your part or car. Seems easy enough.
  7. HERE is another Flint website with lotsa pix, I didn't see any Reattas though. First one to spot a Reatta in one of his pix gets free bragging rights. Uh huh, I've made this one into a contest. He who finds the second one, if there is a second one, gets bragging rights and a new magnifying glass.
  8. Somewhere on the net I remember seeing a pic of the dash with the pad and defroster grill removed, unfortunately I can't remember where. Maybe one of our resident experts could confirm exact location. With the pad and grill gone it looked like it was where my pic says it is, but that doesn't mean I have it right. I can't think of much else that would be in that area. Where ever it is their should be a light sensitive led in the top of it. I'm told for a couple bucks you can get the led from Radio Shack, but the replaceing it in the assembly is supposed to be a bear, much easier to replace the entire unit.
  9. About half way down THIS PAGE are instructions for dash pad and defroster grill removal, maybe you can save another small part or two.
  10. See the attachment for Twilight sensor location. If you are taking the windshield out, wait until after, shouldn't be very hard. If not you'll probably crack the dash panel getting to it, You might be able to get to it through the dash with the radio removed. I guess whatever is left over gets crushed anyway.
  11. Now for us old stuck in the sixties hippies, a couple of grams of Red Lebanese hash and someone else to do the work will suffice.
  12. There is a 90 FSM on eBay, item number 2427223152. It is a New Product Information verson and is not the complete manual. Notice the red text above the big BUICK across the cover. One section I know it does not have is brakes, I'm not sure what all else it may lack. The more used looking item number 2427080245 does appear to be the complete manual. Red New Product Information replaced by much larger and readable white 1990 Service Manual.
  13. You could try Jim Finn, he has several parts cars, or In the last couple of days a thread was started with an 88 getting ready to go to the crusher offering last minute parts.
  14. I could use the twilight sensor out of the dash.

    Rainvisor

Maybe something more like a tiny rain gutter than would fit between the weatherstripping and the roof.
  16. My appologies to Flash, This one slipped through the cracks, and is an inportant one in that it shows the spirit of the Reatta owner.

    Antenna

Try Barney Eaton, he will rebuilt yours for about what an aftermarket antenna will cost and you wont have to worry about adapting the connectors.
  18. Please post some specifics, color, mileage, where the vehicle is located, options, etc. Maybe even asking price. How bad the front end damage is.
  19. I didn't take a picture one, I wasn't even there, the kudos go to EDBSO, tempest68, and Flash. All I did was put them where a lot of people could look at them.
  20. Me thinks Padgett does more flying than walking. Now if we could just install a NIC (Network Interface Card) at the base of his skull.
  21. The graphics on the yellow coupe look a lot like the graphics that came on my wife's MR2, might be able to have a Toyota dealer order them in for you.

    codes???

Disconnecting the battery will also erase the presets on your radio, you will have to reset them once the battery is reconnected.

    codes???

The ones to be concerned with are the ones ending in c ( current ) the ones ending in h (history) could have happened a long time ago and just haven't been reset. Try a massive reset by disconnecting the battery for a while and see what codes come up current when you reconnected the battery and fire it up.
