  2. Hi,

Interesting item regarding Porsche's use of the Continental designation.

Henry Ford already used that for some Lincoln models and forced Porsche to discontinue the model name.

Incidentally, my Speedster also came with a hardtop. Fiberglass, and I don't believe it was a factory option.

  3. Always an item of interest.

Any good forecasters out there who are willing to put their name on a guess?

Last years Region 3 forecast in the Old Farmer's Almanac:

October 1-6, Warm, showers north, sunny south. 7th-14th, Sunny, warm, then seasonal.

This year's forecast for the same region: October 1-8, Sunny, seasonable. 9th-15th, Sunny, warm.

  5. Here's a must read to understand how GM got where they are today: "While America Aged" By Roger Lowenstein, Available at you local library or at Amazon.com. ISBN # 978-1-59420-167-7.

It outlines in vivid detail the mess that they are in with retiree pension and healthcare benefits.

  6. Hi,

My March/April AACA Magazine arrived today alomg with the activity request card.

I mailed it with a request for registration material and info.

Then I noticed the box ad for the tour on Page 11 with the note that registration starts on April 1 and as we know, will be limited.

I hope that this is an April Fool's joke, as we all know, there is no way snailmail can react to get the request to Hershey, send the info here and then return the registration.

Will we be able to register on line?
