Hi Bernie,
I recommend Arias for the pistons.
I got a set for the Twin Six
When I took them to our engine rebuilder, he commented that they were the best he'd ever seen.
Let me know if you need the paint code for the green on the engine.
Regards from the cold, white north.

Hi,
Got the '19 Packard front spindles turned down to fit the wheel bearings and re-installed them on the axles. Now working on the new battery box cover and installing the four wheels.
All this between splitting and bringing in firewood to feed our Vermont Castings wood burning stove.

Then there is the ad in Hemmings that states "Very rare" and when you look a few listings further, you see the same make and model offered for a few thousand less.
Great entertainment!

Hi,
Thanks for posting this.
It looks a little FIAT to me.
They are built there under license.

Hello, again,
I forgot to give you the name of my bearing supplier.
Andy Fuhrman. Andy.Fuhrman@kaman.com
He's an antique auto guy with lots of patience and skill at finding the correct bearings.
Good luck,

Hi,
In my humble opinion, this material should have a home in our AACA Library and Research center.
-
Hi AJ,
Why not drive it there?
Get together with a few others in your local club and make a tour of the trip.
Stop at the museum in Saratoga, or go up north to the boat museum in Clayton, Lots to see between WNY and northern VT.

Hi,
It's a good thing that he doesn't favor the real antiques and classics. He'd price all of us out of the market and also, the tax assessor would be banging on our door.

Hi,
We have a 1926 Chrysler Model G-70 sport phaeton, and are trying to establish some history on the car.
Does anyone have information about the Paul Stern collection of Chrysler autos. He was located in Manheim, PA in the 1960s.
Listing of cars in the auction catalog, date of the auction, etc.?
Any info will be helpful and welcome.

Hi,
The most unusual engine that I ever saw was in the rear wheel of a motorcycle.
The cylinders were arranged radially as spokes. I'll never understand how they got fuel and ignition to the rotating wheel.

Hi,
We should be announcing the no smoking rule for the showfield.
I observed several folks smoking and reminded them.

Hi,
Quick PS on the last post.
Be sure to invert your dry chemical extinguisher periodically and tap it to shake the agent loose.
The agent will settle and compact over time and may not discharge when you need it.
-
Hi,
Size depends on how big the fire will be and how much you value your vehicle.
Go for the big one.
Dry chemical is most effective, but makes a big mess.
Halon and CO2 will do the job, but the effectiveness will depend on wind, etc., as the agents are vapor.

Hi,
I'd go with the Hampton.
The money saved would buy a really nice dinner.
Thanks for asking.

Hi Rick,

Check out this website: HCCA.ORG.
Also, AACA has a non-geographic "region" Called Snappers.
Good luck
