Hi Tom,
According to Brad Skinner and my observations, the correct color for the early Twin Sixes is a green that is the same as the telephone trucks of the 1950's.
Good luck,

Yes, that's Roman's "shop".

Hi,
Thanks for taking a look at these fine doors and hood.
They found a new home for less than $50.00
At least I have some garage space back and don't have to drag them to Hershey!!

Hi,
The only source that I know of for top bows is:
Oak Bows
122 Ramsey Ave.
Chambersburg, PA 17201
(717) 264-2602
They made a complete set for our 1919 Packard.
I believe that they even have paterns for Howard's 1922 What.
Good luck,

Mike,
You need to contact Dick Runion 95 Elwood St.Tiffin, Ohio 44883.
Tel: (419) 448-4639.
Better catch him before golf season starts.
He did a radiator for our Twin Six, and also one for McAlpin's Loco.
Give me a call; (585) 394-6172.

How did it go?
Did the pup make it all the way, or did one of the volunteers dognap her?
I was able to do the Batavia-Weedsport, (NY) leg, but saw that you already had someone.
Let us know.

With the recent trend to "outsource" customer service, you were most likely trying to reach someone in India. Best to try calling then in the middle of the night, our time. Then, be prepared to try to work with an associate who will have difficulty understanding your problem and communicating a satisfactory solution. Just an observation from some recent personal experience.

Hi Mike,
Check with MaDonald Spring in Rochester, NY, (585) 254-3342.
They did some work on our Packard springs and showed me some early springs that they had made.
Also, I have a reference to a Stanley Spring Works in Harrisburg, PA. that does this work.
Good Luck!!

If you come through Canandaigua, NY, let's take an Amphicar for a swim in the lake to show them how it's done.

Hi,
Yes, the Loco is residing with some other choice pieces of Iron.
Auburn, Austin Healey, Cadillac, Ford, Packard, and Simplex, for example. The dealer that has all these is keeping the Loco, but I believe that all else is available.
E-mail me if you'd like his website. gnbboudway@msn.com

Better start checking out those barns.
Here's a photo of a '09 Locomobile that "hibernated" for years less than 10 miles from my home. The lamps are missing, but it's otherwise complete. It was sold to a dealer last October

I'm surprised that he didn't mention the fine electrics in this car. Most likely by The Prince Of Darkness, LUCAS!!

Hi,
Yes, there are a couple of other advantages to registering your trailer in Maine: 1.They will register for a two year period and 2. there is no inspection required for small trailers. I've registered my small trailer with them for over 20 years now.
