Are all of the parts there?  What is the condition of the body wood, chassis, engine, transmission, axles, etc?  Have you got a model/serial number?

Yes Gary most all or all the parts are there.  Very little rust on the whole car except minor rust on rear panel , left lower cowl , and the water trough around the rumble seat opening has pin holes.   Wood is good except at the rear panel  and behind the drivers seat upper tack strip. Yes it is a president and I have the history and serial numbers going back 50 years. Call me for details if interested.  574 22 nine 2six 22.

  3. We bought a bunch of parts in a estate sale and these seven v8 Stude blocks were among the stash. I am a pre war guy and don't know if these have any value to anyone. If we don't finish cleaning out the building in a couple months they will be scrapped. There are also 7 straight 8 blocks and cranks, a big 6 from the 20s and 41 champ motor complete and a commander 6 engine. Also a lot of 30 31 commander stuff.  Some 31 president and 41 president and champion. Contact me if you need any of this.

  4. I did a search on these moldings about a month ago. Trying to find out what happened to l&l trim.  I found the father died, one of the sons took it over.  Then I found where they sued each other and finally a auction about a year ago selling the fathers estate.  I haven't tried contacting the sons directly yet.  I will be needing 2 sets of 32 moldings also.

  5. Hi Peter

Yes in 34 the mains were inserts, but the shells are the thick style.  In 35 the mains and rods were the modern type thin wall inserts.  It does not make much difference because both type are impossible to find.  It is hard to tell by the posted photos, but I think I can see the cylinder jugs under the water distribution plate. In 35 up the block was flat there.  If it is a 35 with the aluminum head you got a good find.
