  1. Hello huppers, know somebody: Is this the original windshield from Hupmobile? See pic, Regards Rainer
  2. Hello, SAE 250 is in now, first test: Switch the gears goes silent, no problems; now i make a "long time test" Regards Rainer
  3. Hello Ken and other huppers, i found an old post about oil for transmission, the theme was about SAE 250 it will be reduce noise, i like to test this, because switching gears with mi car is not possible withlout noises. So i drain mi trans (1 litre oil), but it was black, so may be motor oil runs in trans? When i take now SAE250 in transmission, is it possible to get problems? Regards Rainer
  4. Hello Ken, thanks, no question, unfortunally was my answer in german, i dont now why, (server error?) i only liked to show some pics, the blue wirde shows the inlet for hot air. Regards Rainer
  5. Hello Ken, thanks, no question, unfortunally was my answer in german, i dont now why, (server error?) i only liked to show some pics, the blue wirde shows the inlet for hot air. Regards Rainer
  6. Hallo Huppers, hier noch ein paar Bilder vom Einlasskanal. Das blaue Kabel zeigt den Einlass zum heißen Luft-Einlass-Kanal Grüße Rainer
  7. Hello, thanks for answer, the idea with the different thickness of gasket washer i had too, bud i liked to get some "expertise". The problem with dropping gasoline is over, i made a new valve needle from brass, now the carb is tight, Regards Rainer
  9. Hello Steve and others, here are some pics. The throttle lever is mot installed. I will take away the carb next week, then more pics. But i have a qustion about the breeze carb (H3), is there a way to high level the gasoline in the fuel chamber? And is my type label original (see pic). Thanks Regards Rainer
  10. Hello, this colour is named RAL3020 (Verkehrsrot/traffic-red), but i thing it's too red. I found the pic from footpedal in: 1911 hupmobile 20 restoration (from Jeff Spear). Pic was from Steve Hughes, (posted at 17. Januar 2022) Trimacar: i found a Ppost from you, that you have a PDF about breeze carb, is it possible to get it? Email: Rainerbrockmann57@gmail.com or have you an idea: the problem i have is: 1. The mixture is too fat, (spark plugs are "smoky") 2. It drops gas out of the carb The gasoline adjusting screw is fully closed Regards Rainer
  11. Hello Steve, thank you for the answer, my Hup runs up to 1955 in England, th. it cames back to US. He got a starter, with a sprocket on the flywheel, i thing after 1955.The startingswitch is below the seat. I found the car at Ebay (in Germany) Regards Rainer
  13. Hi Huppers, can someone send me a PDF about the breeze carb?Look at pic, the pipe is not originally, ist me "waste depot for overrunning gasoline" Email : Rainerbrockmann57@gmail.com Thanks a lot
  14. Hello KenHupp20, thank you, that was the Ritter way, the problem is now gone away, Regards Rainer
  15. Hello Huppers, I live in Germany and found a Hupmobile 20 (# 6070/mot #7827) on eBay. I have encountered the following transmission problem: Second gear slips and disengages easily. I opened the transmission cover and took some pics : 2.1 shows that the inner cogs of the gear-wheel do not fit properly into the outer ones - there is a variance of about 12 mm This means that the ball cannot slide into the worknut of the gear lever (pic 2.2 shows first gear worknut) Pic 2.3 illustrates how far the gear shift lever moves forward Does anyone have an idea how I could solve this problem? And can i get a PDF from breeze carb manual (only one 🙂) Pics 1.1/2/3 are of first gear - I also have pics of the gear shift in neutral Thanks a lot Rainer
