  1. Tim: [Upset over Jill's new car] It's a shocker. I don't know what to say. Jill: How about saying that you're really happy that I got the car I wanted? Tim: Alright, I... I'm... IT'S BRITISH. These people made a fighter plane out of wood. They put kidneys in pies for God's sakes.
  2. I had to shorten the push rod, and one other thing that original master cylinder has an internal stop to keep the rod from falling out. I think I'll fabricate the bracket with rubber bumper and install it here
  3. Master cylinder installed. I had to re-bend the shifter linkage to clear the new mount. Checked "before" pictures to make sure it won't interfere with something else. Looks like it should be fine.
  4. Painted and installed only to realize that that I need to cut the clearance for shifter linkage.
  5. 1/4" steel is probably overkill, but hey, why use 2 x 4 if 2 x 6 will do
  6. It also looks like that one way clutch was disassembled at some point.
  7. Also took a closer look at the starter, and found a gear is worn out quite a bit. Luckily part is still available from Rockauto.
  8. Transmission installed with new volcanized torque ball retainer
  9. And it wasn't pretty inside. Here is "before" and "after"
  10. Here is what has transpired since my last post. Transmission was removed and rebuilt.
  11. After selling a few items on Kijiji (Canadian craiglist) I can tell in most cases if it's a real buyer or scam. Same thing " Hi, Is it still available?" or "What's the bottom price if I picked it up tonight?" gets deleted and blocked.
  12. I think I found where this pine came out of. Perhaps purpose of it was to keep the valve spool in for assembly?
  13. How much does it sell for? Perhaps answer is there.
  14. And this is a bit of surprise. Ordered new front brake hoses from RockAuto. And here is a comparison, old ones were almost twice the diameter of new ones.
  15. Mock up of dual master cylinder installation. Bracket is coming soon.
