Thanks Terry! I want to collect even more than I already do, but space is at a premium. I've already filled my house and two storage units, although one of them is almost entirely my waiting to be built model car collection. So I've decided I HAD to stick with just a couple of things or else I'm going to be on the hoarders show buried in car memorabilia 😁 Not a bad thing, hah. I do have some small examples of most of the items you mention. One of the things I've started to hunt for, since I found out they existed, is tokens issued by the car manufacturers. I have had a hard time finding them but did lay my hands on a Ford piece from the mid-30s at Rhinebeck a few years back. I'll have to see if I can locate the photo. I love the early cars but I have almost no access to them. Other than what's in the Saratoga Automobile Museum (1909 Success, 1911 Maxwell) I basically never get to see any Brass Era other than the occasional Model T. I have some old literature that I inherited from my great-grandfather. Hard for me to figure out a date on most of them...and most are still awaiting scans. Not automotive brands but all parts, I think. I'm a 4th generation "car guy" so there's always something to be found.

Lake George is my favorite place in the world...whenever I am not there, I wish I was, lol. My pictures are too big to post using the forum hosting, but I have my own host. I just need to figure out which coding to use to post them, I will in time I am sure. I'll try a couple here... And it worked pretty well I would say! Here's the nose shot I took as well.

As someone with mobility issues who's planning my first trip to Hershey for next year, how soon should I go about renting the scooter for the 2020 show?

Hello everyone, thought I would introduce myself, since I just discovered the forum existed and will probably become a semi-regular member. I've been a car fanatic for my entire life...I think I discovered the world of automobiles at Christmas 1985, when I was just over a year old, via a couple of 1/64 diecast replicas I got as a gift. It started a passion that would last my entire life. Unfortunately, I did not win the health lottery, and have a litany of health issues that I dislike talking about, which unfortunately prevent me from working on a car or even driving. I also can't really afford it, since the medicine that keeps me alive is so expensive. Since I can't own a car, I've set out to photograph as many of them as I possibly can...if my records are correct, I've photographed 209 different brands, and every year from 1906-2020, as well as a couple years before 1905...I'm currently working on sorting my lifetime photo archive by brand, a massive project because I take a lot of photos. If I am able, I take every car at every show I attend...my health issues don't always allow that, but for example I took more than 500 photos at the Hemmings Concours in an hour and a half. I've discovered some brands I had never even heard of by researching my own photography, so that 209 may be actually higher. I have maintained my own website since 2004, which includes my car photography and a whole lot more. I love pretty much every car. Although main focus is American cars, I'm just starting to really appreciate import cars as well, although I doubt I will ever love them like I do American cars. If it's a car, I'll photograph it...any time, any where, including walking through parking lots. I picked up the nickname El Camino Billy when I was circa 15 years old, and it stuck. I do love the model. I'm also a big Edsel fanatic, but like I say, I do love everything. I'm a collector of things...to the point of hoarding, some would say. That includes automotive things, of course. I collected the same 1/64 diecast cars regularly until 2014, and still a little bit now, and I also build scale models, although not particularly well. However, I keep trying. Car magazines also play a role in my life, but my main hobby is trading cards. I began collecting them at 4 years old and I've never stopped...hopefully, never will. I didn't know this forum existed, until yesterday. I've never joined the AACA but I've decided that I'm going to do that soon, and was doing a little research...and saw Forum. I spent a couple hours reading posts yesterday and joined as soon as I could get on my actual computer. If you are on the AACA facebook group I am a member of that as well and post occasionally. That about covers it...I'm still learning the forum and how it works, so eventually I will figure out how to post pictures from my own website as well. Edit: forgot to mention, I'm one of the few people who prefers 4-doors to 2. I was a fan of wagons before they were "cool". The 1950s is my favorite decade for automotive design, followed by the Brass era.

I'm surprised I didn't show up in any of your pictures. I recognize some of the spectators, and those ladies with the dogs were by the Milburn when I was there. Good chance I was near you at the show and had no idea. I got photos of every car in the show, and some parked along the side as well...including an Auburn!
