Mike Mowen replied to Mike Mowen's topic in General Discussion
I think the wheel base is longer but that can be accounted for. The main part is it’s overall shape. What state are your from a paper template my be the answer -
Do you know the year arms model these are from? The hood looks to be shaped much different than mine

Not completely sure my car is partly disabled and I didn’t have any when i got it. I have blindly purchased a few but did get a photo from a connection on this site. From his photos i have one that match’s. I’ll have to measure it to let you know. Your photo raises another question that I’m probably the sill plates too.

I was lucky to find a complete hood with the handles and latch bases. The hood is larger for a different model but the hardware is still the same. All I need now are the spring loaded latches.

1922 Buick 4 model 36 hood handle and latch

Sorry I hadn’t seen your response. Splash aprons cover the space between the frame and running boards. Each model would be different unless they have the same wheel base from what I’ve learned. Longer aprons could be used for most dimensions but shorted to fit the proper length. -
Anything on a 22-4-36?
-
I have a 22-4-36 that I’m finally getting ready to start on after 30 years and I’ve seen a few similar cars with various paint colors. I’m curious about how many colors were originally available because I thought Black was the only original color available back then.

Please drop me a message if you come across any more latches and handles.

I own a 22 four cyl coupe and need a radiator cap. I’ve been leaning towards the dog bone and mono meter how did this work out for you.
