I kinda like the looks of an old heater, especially if it's original to the car.

Have you considered removing the heater from the car? Space is at a premium for feet in those cars. In addition, there would be fewer places to lose coolant and two fewer hoses in the engine compartment would mean less clutter under the hood. Zeke

My 35 Buick has one also.Funny I came across this thread,I just got mine freed up today with wd-40 and vice grips. I removed my heater hoses to better show my motor. Greg.

I still have a drivers side tail light assy. If you're interested. Cup needs to be chromed and missing license plate lense.Greg.

Thanks,I'll buy another gallon. I just drained it good and added the two. Greg.I'm surprised Tractor Supply had it.

I've read where using evapor-rust as a rust remover in the cooling system works well. My system takes 28 pints of coolant and I only bought 2 gallons or 16 pints.Would that be enough to work or should I buy another gallon,or just add a gallon of water? Thanks,Greg.

I'll be having an extra taillight stantion and bezel with the license plate bracket. The bezel will need to be chromed and its missing the glass lenses for the license plate light. It was off of my 35 41 series trunk back sedan and it only had the one on the drivers side.My son bought me one for the passenger side but it's about an inch shorter in length. I then found another one the same length as the one he got for me for the drivers side but with the trunk back sedan I don't know if the license plate bracket will clear or not being a little shorter, hopefully it will do I'll have two of the same length.I'm waiting for him to get my running boards sand blasted so I can paint them and then put on my rear fenders. Then I can tell which one to use. I wish I had more parts for you.Did you see the 35 convertible for sale in California?Sounded like he was going to give it to a good home, too bad I'm in Florida.Greg. Good luck.

Last summer on a whim I bought a couple of old doors and a hood super cheap. I've gotten rid of the doors but still have the hood. I tried to free it up with wd-40 and pb blaster but ended up shearing the metal. I'm just curious as to what year and car it might be from and if anyone can use it it's free to a good home, plus shipping. Greg.

At sometime my front bumper brackets must have gotten slightly twisted on my 35. I just got it back from the powder coaters and it looks good.At one time I noticed it had been brazed or welded. Anyway when bolted to the frame the drivers side is about two inches lower than the other side. It's not real noticeable but it bugs me. Any suggestions on how to level it up? I tried with a Jack under that side but not much luck,a shim maby? Thanks. Greg.

For my 35 Buick 40 series, which brand or type of radio were usually installed? I don't believe Buick had its own brand back then but I could be wrong. I bought an RCA awhile ago for it which no longer works. Thanks,Greg.

Core plugs, are they the same as freeze plugs? Thanks for the advice,Greg.

I read and tried using vinegar as a rust remover and wonder how it would work to clean the cooling system on my 35 Buick. Anybody ever try it? Greg.

I'm guilty of putting my fan on backwards and realized it years later. It never did run real hot even backwards. Greg.

Thanks,it's just a sealed beam in the housing, like I've said I located a replacement. I just wondered when sealed beams were available. Greg.

I have a sealed beam driving light that I bought awhile ago to use on my 35 Buick. I accidentally had the battery charger on 12 volt to test it and blew the bulb. I located a replacement but my question is were sealed beams available in 35? It's in an Appelton housing about 5" diameter. Thanks. Greg.

Sorry,it's a 35 40 series.

I installed my drivers side fender today and went to start the car and it made a hell of a racket! I shut it off right away and saw that the generator pulley was rubbing the wiring harness. I rerouted it but it still seems too close to the pulley. Any pictures of how others ran theirs would be appreciated,Thanks,Greg.
