There is no lever on the bottom, just the top that controls the throttle. One listing I found calls for a single contact bulb. Which would make sense. Perhaps the socket got changed to a double.

Sorry, Things have been a bit upset here. How much do you want for two rims? I'm assuming they are true. How would they be shipped?

My bad, yes it's the rim for a wood spoke wheel. It's not a solid rim, it bypasses when unclinched. So a regular rim straightener probably won't work. Ideally I would like to buy a good used one. Need some leads please. 19" , 30 Desoto

I hit a huge pothole and it dented the edge of my rim. I was able to bang it back out, but when I removed the tire to mount a new one I wasn't able to get it to clinch properly. It's like it was warped somehow making it unable to align the two ends. I don't know if it can be reworked to align again. I would like to replace if possible or fix. Thanks

Looking for 19" rims for 1930 Desoto with wood spoke wheels

I'm looking for 1or2 19" rims for wood spoke wheels.

You say use wires but this case would contradict that. And the tire is fine. Being a carpenter, I have a lot of faith in that much wood.

Given all the opinions out there, I'd like to hear from someone who has actually had or known of an actual incident concerning these tires. Opinions are just that. Again, Coker has reassured me, unless I'm racing.

Why would a company like Coker sell a tire this size, for my wheels, if they would potentially cause a problem? I called them and they assured me they are ok. The wheels are very strong, I can't see what would break.

Were they radial? What type of wheels? Did they work out for you?

I checked the dot number, they were made about a month ago. I'm feeling good about them, going to use them. I'm not racing, just cruising around at 35-40 mph. I think they'll be fine.

Where would I find the date on the tire?

Has anyone heard anything,good or bad, about American Classic radial tires? I bought four white walls 5:00/19 for my 30 Desoto. Then I heard there were problems with the radials. I bought them through Coker. I haven't even unwrapped them so I have options. Thanks

I painted my 30 Desoto with a brush using oil base enamel. People can't believe it. Looks great.

Yes, I adjusted the shoes.Worked from longest to shortest. Pedal strokes could be the problem. Thanks

1930 4 dr cf , I had my brake shoes relinded, Everything back together, Start to bleed them. Round and round with my buddy, open and close 6-8 times, can't get a brake. No leaking that I can see. Just won't stay up. Any suggestions?
