sometimes the illustrations in the owner's manuals don't match the car for the same year.
For example, the '55 owners manual shows AC ducts in the ceiling. The ceiling ducts were ,not present on the '55 AC jobs

If the right side lens is green, would the left side lens be red?

"wrong bother" es correcto in the film that I quoted.
I was sure that you were quoting the movie.
I was just having fun with Spanish. From 2009-2011 I worked at a place where Spanish was spoken all day long everyday. I miss my Spanish sppeaking friends.
But, those captions are Greek to me !

In the Johnny Depp movie about the Lone Ranger, in which he plays Tonto, Tonto says that Keemosabee stand for "wrong brother." In the beginning of the movie, the actual Texas Ranger was shot and his brother dawned the mask and took the badge. Not a particularly good movie but it had a few good one-liners.
"wrong brother" es no correcto

Bushwah! And even worse, it's nugatory persiflage!
I would say verisimilitude....

1942 is WAR Buick.

'Tonto' is Spanish for 'fool'.
'Keemosabee' is the English phonetic for 'Quien no sabe' , which Spanish for "He who does not know"
Es verdad. Yo soy seguro.

Not clear what is news about this. The simple fact is both parties have worked very hard over the past 40+ years to de-capitalize the middle class. Best way to do that is to reduce the value of their money. We have been fed the lie that this is called "inflation" when it in fact is the deflating of the dollar.
To get the approximate equiv. purchasing power - you'd have to multiple that bill by at least a factor of 15. There really hasn't been all that much difference in what things cost - when I was a high-school kid, I bought gas for 23 cents a gallon. Multiple that by about ten and you find the price really hasn't changed all that much.
