Thanks - It caught my eye because it ended in 1989. I do have a high performance truck - my 1990 454SS - which was built until 1993 - however, mine will never see a AACA show as it is highly modified! lol

Thanks for addressing my comments and questions!
I'd still like some fruit please - maybe someone can pull some strings for me in 2019?! ;-) lol
Steve always good to see you and I'm glad you're being careful!! Can't wait to hear that you are back to 100%

Question - in the new Judge's Guidelines, page 4-24 class 36K, Trucks are listed to only 1989. Shouldn't it go to 1993?

This was my first time at the Meeting and enjoyed myself very much! I was able to attend many seminars throughout Friday & Saturday. I walked through the Trade Show, but thought it was rather small with few vendors. I think it's wonderful the AACA has the hospitality area with bagels and muffins, but I would love to see a healthier option for breakfast - maybe some fresh fruit, or fruit salad to go along with the high-carb/calorie foods. Lastly the cost of the banquet dinner and the President's dinner was exceedingly high IMHO for what was served. I was a guest for the President's dinner and didn't go to the Banquet due to the high cost.
It was great to see some old friends, put a face to the names to some others, and meet new friends.
Congratulations to all of the National Award winners!!!

John, I lived in NY for 33 years. Seen my share of very cold temps, snow. Now living in the south, I experience ice that isn't in my glass. I didn't like the cold then and I like it even less now. I'm one of those "cold-natured" people. There is no one on this planet that will ever convince me to "like" the cold. Ever. Besides, I've seen Philly before, this isn't my first visit there, just to the AACA meeting.

Thanks but the hotel won't have shuttles while we are there. I'll look into the train.

I'm flying in Friday morning at about 8am - is anyone driving that might can pick me up from the airport?
Conversely, I'm leaving for an 8pm flight Saturday night, is someone available that can drop me off at the airport anytime before 8pm?
Appreciate the help

This will be my first trip to the National Meeting. While I'm not looking forward to Philly in February, once i get to the hotel, I'm not leaving until I head back to the airport!

If you want to attend, I would call John or Bill ASAP

If I had room, I'd have a lot more then the 2 I currently have and since 1 is for sale, I'm making room for a new one
-
Interesting concept! Don't think they'd want either of my trucks. lol
-
While it's hard to choose just one company, for my husband, I would select Oldsmobile, since he's an Olds guy

We had 3 recalled, entered the info online and got 3 back already. They really are making good on this!

Hello Matt,
Thank you for the courtesy of the reply to my question.
The Cosworth is in showroom condition - so I shall choose the 27K class.
Merry Christmas to you!
Just wondering if you're in VA? I think I judged this beautiful car this year at your local Chapter show

We've booked our room! Look forward to seeing Alabama!!

Shouldn't this be removed as it's not car related?

What great finds you all have had! Makes this girl jealous! Then again, I need to go to some antique shops before I start to complain about what I've NOT found
However, on one of my estate sale weekends, I came across one that the owner used to recondition license plates! Unfortunately, my time was limited, so I couldn't spend too much time rummaging through ALL. THE. STUFF!!! But... I found a 1941 NC license plate that was really rough, but beautiful - gave that to my brother in law for his 1941 Packard collection. I also found a primered 1965 NC license plate. brought it home and painted it for my father in law, for his 1965 Econoline pickup
Like old cars, I love old stuff!!! You can't beat the quality and the beauty
