The stick/seat combo looks like a great idea, and a thoughtful gift for any guy or gal on the back side of 50!

However, this is a CLUB. If any member or visitor comes to my space and needs to sit in the shade for a bit, that’s great. We can certainly shoot the bull for a while. We take along an extra chair or two for that reason. If you’re in the green field, just look for GAI 18-19; near Hershey light pole 18. I bet plenty of other vendors feel the same way. The hardest part is asking. Once you do, you find out you have a lot in common with everyone here.

I've was told this year I need a knee replacement and I'm not yet 50!  I bought myself one of these to walk around Hershey this year cause I intend to keep up with the guys who aren't limping around lol

Good news is you can probably eat asbestos. Just don't breathe it!😁 It irritates lung lining, never heard of it affecting any other art of the body.

Dishwasher works great. Put an old one in the garage!👍

Have you checked out other wheel cover options? I've seen lots more than just those wire wheel covers. My 94 Caprice came with the smooth ones with the large black emblem (interchange # 3168), traded them off for others I liked better (interchange #3213) .

I would rather one of these two options, however, from what I've seen so far, it wasn't a factory option :(

Yes,  it does look best, but the plastic/metal cover in the bottom photo has held up well with limited washing for almost 200 K miles I have put on my wagon! Driven in salt/snow also as a daily driver.  Bought it with 65k , now at 263k . 😃

    Love those LT1 engines!!!!!!

Annie, you should love this car, only the water pump leaking and manifold bolts breaking are known weird issues. Is yours the towing package, or the "go fast" package? Towing package has mechanical fan, go fast is two electric fans, just like the police version. Mine is the go fast version. And it does....... 😁

I do love this car!  It's my daily and will be in HPOF next year.  I have the towing package, but she still boogies along nicely!!! :) I've said to my husband more then once, I'm so glad I got this car!!!!

  4. Hi all!  My new (to me) 1995 Chevy Caprice Classic wagon has beautiful (insert sarcasm here) wire wheel hubcaps and while I loathe them, I of course have to keep them on the car as there wasn't another wheel option for this year...  But, to keep them on, I want them to look as good as possible... what do you use on your hubcaps to get them and keep them clean?  I bought a long handled soft brush that is bendable, but I need a good cleaning substance, something that sprays in and does a decent job of getting rid of the road grime and break dust.

Great photos, Annie--thanks for sharing them with us!  Sorry to hear you weren't feeling well, but glad to hear it didn't prevent you from having fun and I trust you're fully recovered now.

Thanks, again!  It looks like there was a great selection of vehicles on the tour.

Yes thank you! Took another week after th trip but good now. HUGE variety of vehicles!!!

  6. I know most of us prefer original/stock vehicles, but there sure was a wonderful collection of everything on the Hot Rod Power Tour.  This is the first time Joel and I have participated as Long Haulers (those who traveled all 7 cities in 7 days) and we had the time of our lives!  I drove my 1990 454SS pickup and she performed flawlessly!  I, however, was very sick 7 of the 9 days of our vacation, but I was ok with that, cause we weren't stuck anywhere fixing my truck and could keep moving.

For those who are interested, here are photos of each of the 7 day Tour, plus our extra stay in Milan/Sandusky. :)

Thanks for posting the photos from Charlotte!

Will you and Joel be able to make it to the National in New Jersey this year?

I plan to attend the NJ National, The Grand in Auburn as well as Fall Hershey.

Hope to see the two of you sometime this year.

No, Hershey will be our next AACA event. We're doing the Hot Rod Power Tour in June 😄

love your Packard touring car , a twin to the one in my garage 25 feet from where I am typing this.
" you know you're in heaven when you drive a car that seats seven".  My thought for the day , and I can just imagine the people who know me that are reading this are

shaking their heads and thinking 'Gosden is so corny'.  And yes, they are absolutely  correct.

So my new wagon seats 7 - does that count?! :)

  9. Thanks again!!  Bernie & Frank - thanks for so much great info to watch out for.  This is new territory as this is VERY different from the Burb and my 454SS :)

Rock Auto has already gotten a few hundred in parts orders so far lol  I know there will be more!
