    I for one voted (every day) because why not?!  Took me less then 1 minute of my time.  Of course it's a popularity contest but what's wrong with that?  I hope there's a huge increase in participants and spectators next year in 2017.  I know I'll be there :)

    Did you go to a Father's day show?

    I didn't go to a car show, but was a driver at my company's auction here in Raleigh.  Drove some great cars Fri, Sat and drove a few "home" to their storage buildings on Sun.  This Beetle wasn't a "Best in Show" but I laughed the entire time I drove it through the auction line and up on stage.

    Veterans and the recognition given to them at AACA meets

    Being it's Memorial Day weekend, I wanted to express how thankful I am of our Veterans both past, present and future.  I am also proud that the AACA recognizes our Veterans at National meets, both during Judge's Breakfast and the Awards Ceremony.  I think this gesture, while simple, gives many of us who never have served our Country, a chance to thank those who were brave enough to do so.

     

    So THANK YOU to all of our Veterans.  Thank you for giving me the opportunity to go out and feel safe and do the things that my family, friends and I want to do day in and day out.

    I don't know that anyone was "given" First Juniors.  The only thing that was forgiven - at least with my judging team - was dirt!  Unless it was really dirty, we overlooked that, but if the car had the points for a First Junior, then it deserved it. :)

     

    I'm glad everyone has enjoyed the photos!  I know I like to look back at them from show to show to see what was and wasn't at each event.  I love going to different areas of the country cause you never know what you're going to see!!! :)

    Thank you South Jersey Region for a great event!  My husband and I SOOOOOOOO enjoyed taking laps around the track Friday night - highlight of my day for sure :)

     

    Thank you Mother Nature for holding off on the rain until we started Judging! lol  It could have been much worse, but I had another great judging team, and a bunch of awesome cars to judge. 

     

    The banquet was wonderful and our table mates were wonderful company.

     

    Thanks to everyone who came by and introduced themselves!  I now have a face to go with your screen name :)

     

    Our drive home left much to be desired as it rained 8 of 9 hours.  Oh well.
