  1. No good reason, simply the prerogative of the person who hosts the YouTube channel.

I have never found a version with ambient sound, only silent and music-tracked versions. Apparently the footage was created to use in process shots.

Magoo, thanks for the input. Yes, there is a version where you hear the noise from the car or truck which is moving the camera and in it you can hear the acceleration and shifting of gears, very cool, however I don't know what happened to that version.....

  2. I had an experience recently. Someone contacted me from Missouri and said they were looking at a 1929 Chrysler Model 75 roadster which was for sale and they wanted me to advise them on it's value. I took the phone number and did some research, then called the person back. No answer, no response. Why would anyone waste someone's time like that? Very strange.

  3. pre1939chrysler, thank you for your generous offer. I'm certain that your CJ Roadster is every bit the car you say it is and I'm not prepared to discuss which car either the 1929 model 75 or CJ is the most worthy to have, however, I will say that I'm not looking for a CJ at this time. If you come across a model 75 in the future please contact me again.

  4. Hey guys, thanks for the input, I have this Harley Davidson clock, not old and it has a neon ring around it's face. A couple of months ago it failed to light. I was advised to try a new plug in transformer which I did and it still does not light. I was looking for an on the spot diagnosis because it's not worth the postage to send it back and forth. It's not large so I'll throw it in my flea market sack and maybe I'll come across a dealer/repair person.

  5. Hey Art, thanks for the candor, all you say is true, however, of the ones that are left "as time goes by" they do become available. Thanks for your offer about the coupe. I have a 1930 Model A Ford coupe and now I want to tackle one of these roadsters. If I keep this thread active maybe something will turn up. Pray for good weather at Hershey. Stay well.

  6. Hey Guys, thanks to all of you, I've already made a bunch of good friends here at the AACA. Everyone I've called has taken a genuine interest in my quest and taken as much time as they could to advise me regarding 1929 Chrysler cars to which I'm a novice. My experience has been in Model A Fords and their restoration. But back to you guys, again thank you so much for your time and help.

  7. I'm thinking about this and not having any experience with Chrysler automobiles I'm asking the pros. My experience is restoring Model A Fords, one partial and one ground up restoration. If I tackle this Chrysler I do not think the documentation, parts availability will exist that is there for Fords. I would love to be wrong on this. What can I realistically expect?
