Wisconsin Car Transport needed for running car
dgpnaples replied to dgpnaples's topic in General Discussion
Thanks for the replies and one phone call. I am all set to go with a shipper I used last year out of Madison, WI. -
I have bought a car in Wausau Wisconsin and I need it picked up next week, prefer August 4th or 5th, and brought to my home in Brodhead Wisconsin, which is 3 hrs south of Wausau. Car runs, is in pristine condition, prefer a single enclosed trailer for transport. Can anyone recommend a vendor for hire. I am not interested in a Broker with an open trailer rig. Thanks in advance, Dean Prevolos, 239-450-8139 (member # 902503).

1970 Impala Where to Find Eyebrow Trim
dgpnaples replied to aBee150's topic in Chevrolet & GMC - General
Try Impala Bob's (impalabob.com) or classicindustries.com I just finished a 1969 Impala and was able to buy most of what I needed from these two vendors. Good luck. -
Thank you Matt and Restorer 32, I appreciate those comments and will do as you say, especially the enjoyment of the car (if purchased). I will check out the car thoroughly. Thanks.

I am looking to buy a 1936 120 Straight Eight, Vin # 9982257. Is there a series of engine block numbers that I need to check to make sure the engine is original to the car? Any other items to look for on this model and year car? Thank you in advance, Dean.

I have been looking for the one that got away from me. I am looking to find and buy a 1935 Pontiac Coupe. The one that got away from me went to Australia and I regret not buying it when it was sitting in front of me. See attached photo of the one that got away and is my screensaver, so I can look at it everyday. Any leads are welcome. Anyone wanting to sell their 1935 Pontiac Coupe, please contact me. Thank you, Dean Prevolos.

Caleb, I don't have an answer for you but would like to see a photo of the car you are working on. The last time I saw a 35 Coupe was 4 years ago. When I went back to buy it, the dealer had sold it to be shipped to Australia. Just curious where you found your car as I have been looking for years for another one and have yet to find one. Thanks.

Thanks, I have been keeping an eye on Ebay and checking with different Packard part companies. I have been told that the wheel I have is from a 41, so I am looking to change that. Thanks again. -

I just watched an hour of all the different videos, Gone with the Wynns, and found them all interesting and helpful. My wife and I just started looking at RV's and thinking of adding this segment of Retirement to our schedule. What can happen, enjoy a few years on the road, in-between going back to home base, take in a few car shows, life is good. Only in America!

Yesterday I went to change my oil in my 1965 Old F-85. I put it up on the lift and to my surprise I saw a drain plug that I have never seen before. I have tried to attach the photos but the file is too large. I will try later to attach. I didn't have the correct socket to remove but I took a vice grip plyer and it fit perfectly around the drain plug and with one turn it loosened right up. I would like to know if this is a "correct" factory drain plug or is this an aftermarket part? Thanks in advance, Dean.
