I really did it tonight. I got my 1991 Reatta two days ago. Tonight I pushed in the parking (or head light?) button and both buttons fell within the dash. And, the instrumentation below them ceased to function...So, I couldn't get the lights off. After fumbling around trying to retrieve the two buttons, and wondering how to get within the dash to correct the problem (contemplating what parts I might need, what their availability might be, and how to access the area in which to work), I concluded I would be unable to turn off the lights. Going to the owners manual, I learned where the fuses were, seeking a means to cut the power to the lights to save the battery... BUT, I could not determine from the information provided which fuse controlled the parking and head lights, both of which remained on with no switch to turn them off. I pulled every fuse and the black plug-in boxes (circuit breakers?) in the box on the passenger side of the console. Despite this, (and much to my amazement) the parking and head lights remained on. So, I pulled the ground cable on the battery to stop the power drain created by the lights. Now, as a novice, I need to know what parts I need to make the lights operational, where to get the parts, and how to access the space to install the parts. HELP!!!
