I would like to thank Guy Bennett Jr, and actually the whole Bennett clan!
He was one of the people that started me in the hobby over 30 years ago - brought me into AACA and BCA.
They are like a 2nd family to me.
Here we are at Allentown with their wonderful 1908 Model 10.
(He's never met a Buick he didn't like!)

Current vehicles are all named and male - Roger, Monte, Moby and The Min.
Past vehicles though include Ruby, Goldie(s) 1,2 & 3 and China
Oddly I've also owned "The Goat Car," which was a 68 Impala and not a GTO.

The car that was on the green field is the restored result of the actual body of the 1928-29 Packard Speedster prototype, fitted to a re-creation chassis. If I remember correctly, the body was found in Iowa many years ago, mounted to a Bugatti chassis. It's a great car, now located in the Packard museum in Dayton, Ohio. Too bad it wasn't on the showfield, too, as there were two authentic 1930 Speedsters shown in class 19a.
I kinda liked the red one!

Great pictures!
I was there and you got some I missed for sure.Congrats on the 1st.

Yes - Class 27S, a red one. They were nice people with a nice car. I suspect Saturns etc will become the new AMC in that you are pleasantly surprised when you seen them at a show or even in traffic still.
And lets remember Model Ts and Model As were inexpensive cars too!

So that went well - what's next out of the barn for sale please?

I hate to see this drone on but we will fix this issue! Everyone is tuned in to it and next year we will be even more diligent on this issue. People will know that they need to report any use of a drone to the authorities so it can be dealt with immediately. It will be added to our regulations for the show as well. With your help we will put a stop to this.
Pretty sure Steve has indicated the 'dastardly drone' was not authorized like 3 times now. I think we're all set.
He has a lot of packing to do, (HQ's new building,) lets drop the drone for a minute.
Thank you again Steve - it was a great few days!

Thanks everyone for "getting" the teaser message and liking it! It is the best location we could ever ask for and big enough to house our expanding library and do so many cool things for our members. Our current building will be sold and we will have news about our capital campaign soon. Our leaders and board wanted to be sure you heard it as the SAME time the board heard the news. Long, long negotiations but it is a phenomenal building and location.
Ah, don't try to walk into your new building as it is a working company and they will be there another year while their new building is under construction!
That explains why they looked at my so strangely when I asked to see the Foo Dog Trophy the other day!
Glad it has all worked out - everyone has either a new building or renovations and all the buildings still say AACA on them! Peace in the valley.
See you in a couple weeks.

Hey Jarvis-
OK cool down a second. Tell us about your car and where you are and give us an idea what kind of money you are asking, (ballpark at least.)
Lots of smart guys on this site who could help you.

I was a little kid - but I've heard stories of tire chains and all - I believe there are neat photos around somewhere.
