  1. This car is currently at my shop in NY getting serviced, then going to VA to the new owner.
  2. So far, nobody has forgings with that tall of compression height, so they would have to be billet. I figured I'd try the slim chance someone has an aftermarket set on the shelf. Ed, we had a conversation about pistons at Amelia, I had the 14' Lozier parked 2 trailers down from you.
  3. Looking for a set of .030” over pistons for a 1927 Model 36. The cheapest new set so far is $1,600 including rings and pins. Just checking all my options to help the customer out. Bore = 4.030” Compression Height = 3.250” with dome Dome = .250” Pin = 1.080 currently
  4. What is the proper top material for a 27' 120 Series Sedan? The easy choices are long grain, short grain, and smooth grain. I like the smooth grain the best, but we always try to install what is correct for the car. Thank You, Jeff Keysor Keysor Automobile Works Bouckville, NY
  5. I was thinking of going Greg's route. I have everything in the shop to do that, and it has been done before. Thanks everyone. Check out some of our other projects on the website Jeff Keysor Keysor Automobile Works 5893 State Route 20, Bouckville, NY 13310 315-893-7483
  6. I don't know why I put valve cover, it obviously covers the water chambers. It does have 2 separate valve covers on the other side. Jeff

  8. I'm currently restoring a 1929 Reo Mate Phaeton, we are in need of side engine cover/valve cover for a Continental 16E engine. Not sure if some other Continental's share the same part. Discovered some holes in the original after removing the rust scale. Any leads would be greatly appreciated. If I can't locate a part in the near future, we will just make one. looking for

That car is only a frame and engine, set up to use as a buzzsaw, been sitting outside for decades. Called the guy a few times and he would never meet me so I could view it. Very weird if you're trying to sell something.

  12. The 80" smooth grain from Restoration Specialties will work. I just got a sample and it is not totally smooth. Has a nice light grain to it. Thanks
  13. Positive, I took the original off and still have it. One big piece
